I've used beard care products by this brand before, and have been satisfied. Putting all of these together in a single starter/gift pack for people at the beginning of their beard-journey is both practical and actually a pretty good gift idea.The shining star in this kit for me was the beard wash and conditioner. I had great results. They both lather up well and rinse off easily, leaving my beard hair easy to manage after the shower.The beard balm is also a rock star in this set. It has a great consistency and does a good job of holding all the hairs in-place for a reasonable amount of the day.The beard oil that's included is fine, but not one that I would purchase on its own. The oil absorbs quickly enough into my whiskers and skin, but the claim that it will help "grow your beard faster and thicker" seems to be a bit of a stretch.The brush, the comb, and the scissors are all cute add-ons for people who are just getting started, but probably not needed for people with more mature beards. Still, it's cute and a nice addition.They tout their commitment to natural plant ingredients, so if that's important to you then so much the better. Overall, I like most of the individual items, and it's a very nice package to give to a loved one.

The price is perfect, and will allow him to try some products he’s never used before, including beard balm and oil, and shampoo / conditioner specifically meant for his beard. I’d absolutely recommend this for a gift, or to try out new products!
