This stuff is as good or better than they say it is. I have got water on the bow and it runs rite off. Super easy to apply. I would recommend to anyone. I will buy more when my bottle is empty. I have a 18ft boat with left over

Easy to apply with great shine.

My bassboat is 27 years old and though it is garage kept when not on the water and has been well taken care of for as long as I’ve had it, something that old is gonna start to show its age. My gel coat is in really good condition but it takes a lot of tlc to keep it that way. I’ve noticed I spend more time and more frequently to keep it pristine. That was until I got this ceramic topcoat. These folks make some really good marine products but I believe this is one of the best. This stuff is like so healthy for gel coat it makes mine look new again. It’s like the very best anti aging skin cream that my wife loves but for my bassboat. This product is super easy to use and lasts longer than anything I’ve tried so not only do I do this less frequently it doesn’t take as long. The time saving gain alone is worth the price. It must be seen to believe. This product creates a protective barrier and repels dirt/dust, pollen, water, and UV rays. Got a boat your proud of then try this and you will be glad you did.

I didn't use this on my boat; I used it on the front fiberglass cap of my RV. I buffed first (1000, then 2000 buffing compound) then washed and dried again before applying. It really deepened the color and made it look new again. The gloss was substantially improved from the start, but I can't say it was this product alone - I believe it was a combination of the buffing and then sealing with this coating. Traveling here in the South, we get lots of bugs (including the infamous "love bugs") that splatter on the front. I have found that they come off much easier than before - with just a garden hose pressure rinse - even though before I had been using wax. I don't know how long it will last, but it has been 4 months now and it is still going strong. If I could purchase this in larger quantities and priced better, I would love to do my entire RV with it.

the photos show before and after applicationo of the Gtechniq Ceramic Top coat. Although initended for boats, this nanocoating can be used for other purposes like wood finishes. The coffee knock box was originally finished by the manufacturer to have a nice finish, but I applied Gtechniq Ceramic Top as a final coat to shine up the surface and improve the waterproofness (for ease of cleaning). Note that, although the knock box is used to make edibles, it only touches the post products and the finish does not come in contact with the food (coffee). I mention this so that you do not think this is suited for food-contact surfaces like cutting boards; it may be perfectly safe, but I have not tested it and the manufacturer recommends use for boating surfaces, not food-contact surfaces. I think the Gtechniq finish significantlly deepened and improved the appearance of the original finish and it added waterproofing to further protect the wood from coffee splashes. I will also use the Gtechniq product on a boat, but this is not boating season and I wanted a quick test of the product for this review. Excellent!

Top coat is simple now that you've gotten the base coat outta the way. this will be much shorter then my base coat review and for reference you can see that review which gives you advice on how to properly prep for the application of ceramic coat. ill wait here as you read that one....and now that you're all caught up and all the hard work is behind you, you can move onto the easy and quick part of the entire process! Now all you need to do is follow the instructions on the bottle and same as I stated before DO NOT let the coating see water or soap for at least 7 days id wait at least a few weeks before the first wash and use a ph balanced car wash soap to help the longevity of the coating. And that's it congrats you've (hopefully) correctly applied your ceramic coat! now enjoys the months and hopefully years of water beading and protection! Good stuff here, would recommend.

Disappointed that GTechniq support (Jesus Gallo) said to only expect 1yr or protection for nearly $1k of product for a 25’ boat. What’s the point if it only lasts a year and all of the upkeep you have to do for the product. This is snake oil and a waste of money. Use wax on your boat and save yourself the frustration. Beyond disappointed and feel scammed!!
