Surprisingly noisy. Fast for a HDD, slow by any other standards.

The best non SSD drive
Easy to install with a little help from disk manager and your good to go. Plenty of storage for games and load times are pretty good just don't expect SSD performance. Plus you get a 5 year warranty.

Have several smaller WD black drives I use in video and graphics work. They've all been fast and reliable. This 8TB model is no exception.

incredibilmente rumoroso
Ho acquistato questo hard disk venendo da un precedente WD Black 1tb di diversi anni fa, a confronto silenziosissimo. Questo nuovo modello emette un fastidioso rumore periodico, ogni pochi secondi, che causa forte vibrazione a tutto il pc (e persino il tavolo). In anni di possesso di computer non ho mai sperimentato un disco così.Cercando online ho capito che si dovrebbe trattare di una nuova feature chiamata PWL, Preventive Wear Leveling, che attiva il disco ogni tot secondi per aumentarne la longevità. Ho provato in ogni modo tramite software a risolvere la cosa e non c'è stato verso.Ho rinunciato a rimedi fai da te e optato per il reso e sostituirò con un SSD.

1 très bon et 1 très bruyant
Acheté 2 dont 1 silencieux et 1 bruyant ( qui va retourner si le bruit continue ).Sinon , c'est probablement le meilleur choix en HDD et les taux de transfert entre 2 black 8TB sont entre 160 et 230 MB/s.C'est 2x moins qu'un SSD mais 4 x plus de capacité...J'ai fait un petit test de transfert ( 44.4 GB en 3 fichiers .mkv):du black 8TB au black 8TB n°2 : moyenne = 190 MB/sdu black 8TB au SSD 870 qvo : moyenne = 168 MB/s !!!du 870 qvo au 860 evo : moyenne = 460 MB/sdu 860 evo au black 8TB : moyenne = 130 MB/s

Es un disco duro tradicional con excelentes prestaciones tanto en sus RPM, memoria caché y velocidad de transferencia . Con la garantia de la marca WD y te va a serivr para montar un ordenador gamer o lo que quieras. Muy contento con él.
