As a 16-year Combat-Disabled Army Veteran, I am writing this review as a real individual, not a bot. I experience occasional gout attacks, hallux rigidus, and a bunion, all centered around the big toe joint on my right foot. Over the years, I’ve tried numerous treatments, including NSAIDs, which provided little to no relief, and steroids, which only minimally alleviated the pain and swelling. I’ve also used Allopurinol and Colchicine to manage uric acid levels, but their effects have been temporary at best.During a recent visit to the podiatrist at the Veterans Hospital, she recommended this product to me. She explained that the Tega Carbon Fiber Insole is designed to prevent my toe from bending while walking. While this insole cannot prevent future gout attacks, she emphasized that it could significantly reduce—and potentially even eliminate—the pain in my joint when walking. Based on her recommendation, I decided to purchase this product.The insole arrived yesterday, and I immediately placed it in my shoe beneath the original padding. As soon as I started walking, I noticed a dramatic reduction in pain—almost instant relief. After years of dealing with pain in my big toe, I had unconsciously adjusted my gait to compensate. However, within about 30 minutes of using this insole, I found myself walking normally again, without any pain in my toe.The insole fit true to size and aligned perfectly lengthwise within my shoe. While it is slightly narrow, placing it under the shoe’s original padding made this unnoticeable during use.As someone with significant issues in my right foot, I can confidently say this Tega Carbon Fiber Insole has greatly improved my quality of life. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone experiencing similar problems.

These are well made, very thin, and fit well underneath the insole of my shoes. I can wear them with my athletic sneakers, but they do make my heel slip in some of my loafers. (That's not the fault of the product, though, as my husband has custom-made orthotics which also cause his heel to slip in some of his shoes.) Most important, they keep my toe from bending and thus reduce the pain. I may buy another set because, since they are hidden underneath the insoles, I keep forgetting which shoes I left them in!

I have Hallux Rigidus and needed to stiffen some sneakers to help keep my big toe joint from flexing too much. I wear a size 9.5 and ordered a pair of insoles that matched my size. When I received them I found that when they were placed inside the sneakers they did not lay flat enough and the space from the top of my toes to the inside roof of the sneakers was reduced too much making for too tight of fit. I contacted the seller via email from their web page and they offered to send me a size 9.0 to see if it would help. Result was it definitely worked in that the smaller insoles laid flatter inside the shoes giving me more room above the toes. The smaller insoles where shipped free of charge and came with a USPS return envelope so that I could retune the unused insoles at no cost to me. I would defiantly recommend the product because it is well made, is very stiff, and the seller will work with you to get a good fit.

I suffer from pain from failed hallux rigidus surgeries in both of my big toes. (The implants used have failed.) I first bought carbon fiber insoles upon the recommendation of my ortho guy and purchased them at a local shoe store, per his instructions. Initially, the price a couple of years ago was $60/ea. Then the price went to $80/ea. Am so thankful to have found these. They work great, and delivery was super-fast. Thank you!!!

This product does exactly what it claims and what it should.Adds instant rigidity to a shoe and is great to assist with toe off, and will help forefoot pains like the one I had around my great toe. I had really inflamed it playing pickleball where walking on any surface or any shoe I own was hurting. I got these into my running shoes and immediately could walk almost pain free.Time will tell on durability, but they seem like they’ll last a while! Highly recommend

My ortho doctor recommended these for support after being diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both feet. They created more problems with my feet than I originally had and offered me zero relief or improvement. I tried in three different shoes - Hoka, Brooks and On - all with the same result. My toes would numb, back would hurt and balls of my feet would hurt and numb, etc. I tried over 3 weeks of use thinking I needed to get used to them but time did not help. I will be seeking alternative inserts for support required but this isn’t it. Although I missed the return deadline through Amazon, manufacturer was kind enough to reach out and work with me.

The doctor diagnosed my left foot with a tendon issue and recommended a set of inserts to keep the foot flat when walking. I ordered these inserts and have been wearing them for a week or so now. They really seem to help, no discomfort at all despite some longer walks. The inserts are incredibly stiff for how think they are. They fit in my shoe without any issue, but do keep my feet flat as I walk.

This was suggested to me by my physiotherapist and it has been amazing as besides my foot fracture i had a number of the other foot issues mentioned. So very happy, very reasonably priced as well.

Diese Einlegesohlen helfen mir zwar beim Gehen (sie entlasten das Zehgelenk), aber das Stehen auf diesen Einlagen fühlt sich gar nicht gut an. Schon nach ca. 2 Stunden im Stehen fühlten sich meine Füße sehr erschöpft an. Ohne die Einlagen kann ich problemlos auch deutlich länger stehen.

I got these specifically because they came as a pair but I only received 1 in my package, I emailed the company directly and they quickly resolved the problem. Insoles are great, nice and rigged providing great support for my toes.
