Check stem length
Pulled the old cartridge, it was marked HL-40, I ordered replacement. The stem length was to long...... Returned and ordered this unit, perfect fit. Ten minute installation and I'm back to hot showers.

Installed and worked instantly.
Used it for a shower that hadn’t been working for a while. Decided to take it a part and found the cartridge needed replacing as it want allowing the cold water to mix with the hot anymore. Now it works good!!

Works as a replacement for the "Homelody" shower valves
The person I bought my house from installed a very cheap shower kit that is sold on Amazon under the "Homelody" brand. They don't sell replacement parts, which was a problem because it leaked from day one. This cartridge fits those valves and fixed that leak.

Perfect replacement
I was going crazy looking for this replacement cartridge for my shower. I went to LOWES and Home Depot but they had no idea where to find it. No one could tell me what brand at least it was. After no one could identify it, I decided to Google the numbers on the side, Home Depot was one of the places that sold it and Amazon was the other. Home Depot would have taken a week or more to get here and Amazon the next day, so obviously Amazon won. Replace it and it worked perfectly. So far so good so I’m very happy.
