Great sausage stuffer!
Great sausage stuffer. Have used it several times making deer sausage sticks and worked great. Stainless steel quality as you would expect from LEM. Bought it as a "used" item at a discount & when received looks brand new. Would highly recommend.

This made sausage making so much easier. Solid construction and easy cleanup. Perfect for the small batches I do

Great Buy
I absolutely love mine. I was able to quickly stuff 25lbs of deer sausage in 30 minutes(give or take). With the included C-clamps, its pretty sturdy. It works for other foods too! I even used mine to stuff manicotti shells.

It’s a game changer….
I love everything about this machine. Good size, extremely easy to use and it makes some sausage! Fast and not much energy needed to get the press operating. most of the material is used, easy to clean. I was using a grinder to make sausage, which was okay but this puts that to shame. Processed 25 lbs of sausage in about 2 days. From start to finish through the grinder. But this beast, start to finish about 3 hours. making the recipe is not that hard, the stuffing was the tedious and time consuming part. This machine changes all of that. Fill it, get the casings (about 5 or 6, way more then the grinder which is nice) on the extra long tube and go to making some sausage. The handle allows it to evenly press sausage into the casing without any energy, the steel gears mesh together smoothly to give you a good experience. The machine worked effortlessly and efficiently. I was amazed on the time it saved me. A true game changer. Just remember to put some vegetable oil on the o-ring and make sure the mixture is not dry and you will not have a problem, even when storing. If you are having problems squeezing the mixture into the tubes, your probably doing something wrong. There are machines made to do certain things that make your life easier. In the world of sausage making, this is one of them. Highly recommend this stiffer to anyone.

Great Product! But if you are using small casings...
I started stuffing sausages using the Kitchenaid attachment. While that may work for a few pounds of sausage, it does not work for larger batches. Next tried the horizontal sausage stuffer, and while better than the Kitchenaid, it was still difficult to use. Enter this beast. Much better and worth it. Just finished stuffing about 30 pounds of 19mm snack sausages in about an hour. Unluck with the other two, it was easy to do with no major issues. You will need to be able to clamp it down and it comes with two 2 inch C clamps. Why 1 less star? Because the tubes provided do not fit 19mm casings. You will have to buy another tube that fits (the 9mm tube.) Once I had that it was smooth sailing.

If I could, I'd give this LEM stuffer a couple extra stars!!
Let me begin with stating that this is the first stand alone sausage stuffer I've ever used. Years ago I started out grinding and stuffing sausages using a "Kitchen Aid" with the grinder/stuffer attachment. It worked but oh my, it was a lot of work. I finally wised up and bought heavy duty grinder I would use to grind the meat and then run it through a second time to stuff the sausage. It worked o.k. for stuffing but by double grinding, the meat ended up being ground to fine. The other downside was it required two people working together to correctly stuff the casings. My stuffing partner (wife) passed away a few years ago so I just starting making sausage patties instead of links. I finally wised up and started reading reviews on Amazon concerning stuffers in the price range I could afford. From the reviews I read concerning this stuffer it appeared the only downside was the fact it took a fair bit of cranking to remove plunger assembly so the hopper could be refilled. All in all, it seemed just about everyone loved this stuffer so I took the plunge and bought one. "I am now a HAPPY sausage stuffer!! This stuffer did indeed make stuffing sausage so much easier and I can operate by myself, hip, hip hooray!! The other reviewers did a fine job describing how this stuffer performs so I won't bother to repeat the raves here but I would like to add a couple thoughts. First, it is easy to clean this unit. When you're taking it apart to clean it, don't forget to remove the o-ring on the plunger in case any meat fragments got under the o-ring. It's easy enough to do. I just carfully used a butter knife to slip under and lift the o-ring out of it's groove. Just be careful so you don't damage toe ring. The second suggestion I have works great but the LEM folks will probably frown on this one. In place of the crank handle, I use a cordless, variable speed DeWalt drill motor coupled with a 6 point 3/8 drive 9/16" socket. I also adjust the drill motor so that it will slip (screwdriver setting) so it's impossible for me to crank to hard and damage anything. It's so easy to vary my stuffing speed with this set up and it only takes a few seconds to crank the plunger back out so I can refill the hopper. One other thing I did was before I ever used the stuffer, I removed the gear cover and I packed the gear housing full of food grade synthetic grease. Those metal gears will be around long after I'm dead and gone!! If the LEM folks want to void my warranty, I'm fine with that. As well as this thing is built and the material used to build it with, I don't see much chance of it coming apart. Sorry for such a long review. I seldom review items I buy but in this case, I decided to share my tidbits in case anyone is interested. Y'all have a GREAT day!!!

Compared this to many options at cabelas, basspro, and kitchen supply stores. The unit is stellar. Heavy duty, protected gear box, and well made. Leaves very little (maybe the size of your thumb) bit of meat at the bottom.. that's all. We have a meat grinder and always fought putting the ground through a second time. This was so easy our child was cranking and we just coiled the sausage. Such a breeze.
