I remember these times, and although I live in S F Area, we shared the same type adventures at the Richmond M C hill scrambles with Dick Mann, indoors at the Cow Palace with Mark Brelsford, and: Hayward, Lodi, San Rafael, San Jose half-mile at the fairgrounds, Dixon May Fair short track...and more

All the stories were well written. Although my riding career started in 1975 (in Alaska), I still related to soo many situations.It too, was cool to see referenced many riders that I read about as a kid growing up with motorcycles on my mind.

Having ridden dirt bikes in San Diego County since 1970, these recollections brought back great memories of names and places familiar to me. And the earlier history, much of which I was unfamiliar with, was very interesting. Many great, old pictures!

I love this book, have learned a lot about the early days and riders in southern California. The book is full of great photos and stories about many of the racers I watched for years. Brought back many memories!

Wow bought this book for a friend because I had one already and it showed up before expected. What a great book and a good read. If you like two wheels and history you should pick one up!!
