i've tried 500$ locks and they're such a pain to install and maintain, this is simple to install and durable

We are using this on the gate for the walkway between the house and garage. Easy to install. Love that it is easy to lock and unlock. Given my gate is wood, it won't keep out someone who really wants to get past the gate. But it keeps out anyone who thinks they have the right to wander onto my property. (Village inspectors, looking at you).

Mostly I like this lock. The mechanism is heavy duty and was easy to install. Unfortunately the slide bar bends easily which jams the lock. I wish they had made this with a single piece of hardened steel instead of two soft pieces laminated together.

This lock is heavier duty than I expected and worked very well for our gate purposes. It comes with all the parts necessary to adjust to the thickness of your gate or door with templates, screws, and all necessary parts. I was very impressed by the overall quality (made in Japan) and instructions provided, and would purchase again without hesitation.

I've had this lock installed sine April 2019 and i've had to pay 2 different people to try to get this thing to work and it still doesn't work? They both are saying the outside turn knob is strong enough to turn the latch all the way out so that it locks as right now you can put the combination in to open the gate but then when you try to close it back and turn the know to lock it back the slide piece doesn't slide all the way out to lock? Now I can get get my money back and I'm tick off that i wasted my money. PURE CRAP7/5/19 UPDATEOK So call Lockey’s customers service and they guy Ryan was superb as I explained my issue he quickly had 2 things he wanted me to try and I hade my maintenance guy try it and low and behold the lock now works. The knob is a bit tight to turn when opening but I have had such a time putting this lock on I don’t want them to mess with it anymore. If this wouldn’t have worked they were willing to send me out a new lock to replace the one that wasn’t working properly good customer service Lockey 👏🏼

This solved my problem.I needed something that was keyless that could work for a custom built gate, locking from inside and outside.Took my time with the installation. Climate change has thrown some nasty weather my way and this has worked flawlessly.I think it looks good, at least it matches my gate hardware.Not sure about the bad reviews--maybe a QA issue, possibly user error on the install.All I can say is that it's working perfect for me after trying a few other options.

Nice looking, works well, easy to change the combination. Not a heavy duty lock, for light duty interior doors only.

I had to replace a similar lock, different brand as a couple of the buttons had frozen. This was much easier to install. Directions are great and they provide all the parts to use on multiple width doors/gates. Very well made and highly recommended.
