I purchased this to carry with me to church . This bible is good for beginners for below reasons:1. Its easy to understand than other translations for beginners specially.2. Size is normal. Beginners who are new to faith sometimes get overwhelmed with bible size as I did.

Don't like to read Bible? This will definitely not be the problem. Basic English used to help you with better understanding about the story. it keeps you engaged, and makes you to keep reading. Even children's can read this, it won't be a problem for them as well., It's that good.About the book quality it's decent enough, papers are thin but it's definitely going to hold up for a long time. It's a old stock so it has some minor scratches but that won't be a problem.A must buy for young and old.

The Brown Colored Biblica Bible is quite pleasing to look at,quality of paper used too is rated "as good".It's just the size of font used is far too small.I'm a super senior citizen,hence humbly request for a similar bible with a slightly larger font,only if available.Pl indicate date of pick up,.Thank U all for your compliance.

Some Bibles I've seen with "large" print can only be called "large" in comparison to the teeny print in other Bibles. But for those of us with presbyopia, that "large" is a joke. THIS "giant" print is more like what folks used to large-print will consider "large." I would say "giant" is an exaggeration, but certainly, this is a good size for middle-age and older eyes. This is about 13 pt type. I'd think Giant would be 16 or more. This is LARGE, and useful.The Bible cover is gorgeous. A warm toasty brown and an appealing herringbone-ish sort ofpattern. Flexible as a whole, with a bit of weight, it's got heft, though not superheavy. I wouldn't recommend it for someone frail due to the size/heft. No notes/study features like the humongous large print Bibles. This is text with references down the middle column (not at the end of verses). Some folks like end of verse, some center column. THIS IS CENTER references.There is minimal show-through, which is nice. There is minimal white space (well, sure, gotta use up that space with "giant" print), so if you take copious notes within your Bible, use a super-duper fine Bible pen, or be aware that while you can make very shorthand notes, there's not space for lots.This is a great Bible to tote to worship service or Bible study or to read, especially if you prefer to use commentaries of your own choice or to look online, rather than having the explanations/clarifications/charts within the actual Bible. If a bare-ish text is not your thing, go get a study bible. The Nelson one has lovely tools/aids/charts, but it's really heavy and the large print is not that large.This is New King James version. My pastor uses that, so this is why I got this type of Bible. I bought a similar one (feminine, in a rose color) for myself, and a gray-taupe one for hubby. I almost bought him THIS one, as I saw a fellow church-goer using this one and he let me flip through it and check the font size, feel, etc. We liked the look and the print size, hence buying our own (though different style of cover).Thanks, Thomas Nelson, for a good-sized print and beautiful cover. I would request you not call smaller fonts sizes Giant. I've seen some other similar sized TN NKJV Bibles with SMALLER than this print called "Giant". It's confusing and kinda misleading. If you go for a different cover, make sure you check the font size. Not all similar type center and end of verse reference Bibles by this publisher called "Giant" have THIS large a type. I know, I spent days looking them over at the Nelson site and here.... Some are 11 point, not 13. That is a difference.Good for aging eyes. :)Hope this helps...

I am a strong believer. And I needed a Bible in bigger prints. This has become a life time Bible for me from now on.God is good. May God bless your heart through this wonderful print Book.
