Sometimes, the old school way is the best way. I have been growing my personal library for years, and when friends see that I have a particular book that interests them, they tend to want to borrow it. I usually take a photo of the borrower with the book title in hand to remind myself who I lent the book to, however, sometimes the borrower doesn't know how long they've had the book, so I sometimes don't get a book back for months or years, and in rare cases: never again. :( This library card catalogue solves the problem. I sometimes still take a photo of the book with the borrower, but now, I can also just take a photo of the card instead. Under the name section, I get the borrower to also put their contact info. When the book is "overdue", I just text/email/IM the photo to the borrower. It's much easier to find these photos because I'm looking for a card rather than faces. Plus, it's nice to see that physical books can still be enjoyed by so many people. That said, the library card catalog is made of the same materials as library card catalogs of the the past. It is made of thick card stock, and there is a useful self-adhesive back for the pocket/card sleeve for affixing to a physical book. I usually stick it in the inside cover (front or back) of a book.

I'm very pleased with the quantity and quality of this product. I can use some of them in my books so I can keep track of who borrows my books and how long they've kept them. Another wonderful use for these library cards/pockets is to use them in craft journals of various types. The cards and pockets can be distressed to give them a vintage appearance. I've also hand-written or typed the titles of books on the cards, then filled the cards out with fictional people and dates when they checked the book out in the past. The back of the library card can also be used for journaling space in a journal They can come in handy for many types of paper crafts.

I bought these for a school library. I needed some to use while the regular order was on back order. It took no time to get these. The quality is good also. I was surprised by the quality. I ordered some others from Amazon and the quality of them and these is quite different.

This is such a great product and a good price. When I needed to order more, however, there were no more available. I would highly recommend it. Hoping the company gets going making more soon!

This set of book pockets and cards are the best I've had. Good quality. The cards have a space for the date also. Would not order any others any more.
