I can't say if the cake tasted good or not, but my 32 year old daughter loved receiving it.

What i think this product has right compared to the others is you get amazing treats that come with it unlike the many i have seen on this app. My mother loved it so much that she wants to buy one for my grandma for her birthday, definitely an amazing product/gift for someone!

This was so cute! I got it for my mom. She just turned 85. She's had every kind of b-day gift. I thought this will surprise her. I wished I had taken a video. She was definitely surprised, happy! Everything "exploded" the way it was supposed to. The thing you should about this gift. It's kind of hard for the older person to open the actual gift box. Cuz Everything is wound up so tight in it. So, you might have to open it for them. Just do it right in front of them. The butterflys really come flying out. As long as whoever is opening it doesn't have a hard time doing it. I would recommend it. My mom said she loved it!

We followed the instructions on the outer and inner box. On the day of the occasion, after it thawed sufficiently my son opened the box, 'butterflies' took off, and then it was time for the cake. What found was a moldy old cake. Pure nasty. At first, my son thought the mold was part of the decoration, and then said it tasted bad. Upon inspection, it was mold. I think the novelty is a great, but maybe stick to just packaged candy - those were fine.

Bought this for my mom. She loved it and the grandkids did too.
