What does the bottom look like? (I need cups that are totally flat-bottomed - bottoms with rims, however slight, do not work well on my cup warmer.)

The bottom does have a slight rim to it. It is unglazed but the rest of the bottom is glazed.

How many cups come in this order?

This is not a "set," only one cup per order. However, they are very sturdy and likely to remain in your kitchen forever. Purchased two for our grown son (who may or may not be very hard on coffee mugs) for the holidays last year. Both are still intact and and he loves them.

Is the handle of the ceramic mug big enough to hold easily?
