Fast tire with plenty of grip on the road.
These tires are fast on the road and and grip well in the turns. The small amount of tread on the sides don't do much once you hit a little bit of dirt, things get loose pretty fast. These are not very puncture resistant either, I get a puncture almost every time I ride,. I haven't flatted out as I have these set up tubeless but I'm getting tired of having sealant sprayed all over the back of my seat tube and legs after every ride. I really do like these tires and will wear them out before buying new tires, but I may try something else next go. I came off of conti gator skins and the gator skins are much more resistant to punctures. I was hoping for a little more traction as these are on a gravel bike as well as puncture resistant. Overall a good tire but maybe more suited for strictly road riding where less goat heads/thorns are present. Oh and the ride quality is nice, very supple.Update 9-16-2021I’ve had these tires just over a year now and I’ve had enough. Ride quality is 5 star. Puncture resistance is 1 star. I get at least one puncture per ride. Coming from gator skins where I would get 1-2 punctures a season this is frustrating. Granted the sealant typically seals the hole, but I’m sick of my tire spraying sealant all over my leg, bike frame, and front chainrings. I had to add sealant 4 times in addition to the initial setup during the year they were on my bike.

Will not buy WTB Tires again
This is my second set of these. First set got shredded on a road ride (Not MFG Fault). This second set will not hold air very well. Air them up, tire has plenty of sealant. Can walk back out to the bike and hear air leaking out from random locations at the "Needles sticking out from molding". Friend has Expanse 32's with same issues. I had to pick up some new Gravel tires last week. Went with Bontrager's since both of my Mountain Bikes run them with zero issues, will be getting them next for Road Tires.

Air leak on new tire
Mounted the WTB 700x30 on my BMC Roadmachine with Stans and floor pump without presta valve but instantly heard several pinhole leaks on the sidewalks. Added another 3oz of Stans and rolled the tire sideways and the holes plugged. However, the tire continued to deflate completely after every ride, even after replacing the valve. Despite good grip and wear I threw out this tire after 200 miles and won’t try another one anytime soon. Tan sidewalls can have this problem but I’ve never had so much air loss on a new tire.

Horrible tires, horrible customer service
I ordered these tires after reading the description of them being a great all around/gravel/road durable tire. First, I installed them as tubeless and every day I would put in air, the next morning, they would be flat. Even my LBS couldn’t get them to seal properly. Then, over 3 weeks of riding on smooth pavement, I had THREE punctures- without even taking them on gravel! A tire that is supposed to stand up to gravel should not get punctures (and I mean punctures so big my dynaplug tool didn’t fill the hole)! I filled out a warranty claim and was told that tires get punctures, it is a part of riding. Sure, that is true. But this many for no reason is obviously just a sign of a horribly made tire. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Good tires, easy tubeless
These tires are fast gravel tires. I have several hundred miles on these tires, and I'm quite happy with them. They have just enough tread on the edges to deal with a little bit of loose stuff, and the center line is smooth enough to ride on the road all day without slowing you down. I just set them up tubeless on a set of WTB TCS rims, and it was easy when done right. I applied the rim tape and set them up with tubes for a few days, then unseated only one bead to take the tube out and install the valve stem, and both tires seated right back up in less than a minute with a floor pump. My biggest complaint is that when they are new the bead is really tough to get over the rim, even with a tire tool. After taking them off and on a few times the bead goes right over the rim with just a bit of thumb pressure, though.

Lucky to be alive
This tire replaced stock equipment on my 2019 Cannondale Synapse SE. Unfortunately, before even getting a ride in, it abruptly exploded while riding down my driveway (thankfully not while cruising downhill at 50mph). I had it setup tubeless exactly the same as the old tire, mounted to a WTB KOM light i21 TCS rim, which is not only compatible with this tire but designed to work with it. My rim is now scraped and marred as a result of the failure. I did notice the pressure rating of this tire was 10psi less than the stock tires (see photos) but still within my operating pressure. Perhaps the tire I received was counterfeit. Buyer beware, verify the seller before purchase. I’ll be seeking a refund.

A hard NOPE.
5 flats in under 100 miles. Leaked and were magnets for tiny sharp debris as well. I experienced a range of air loss with reasons unknown. I even set them up as tubeless after giving up on using tubes with them, where I got 4 of the flats, and let them sit for 48 hours to make sure they’d hold air. Then within 10 miles the front deflated extremely fast while in a group ride. Fortunately speeds where slow but these have proven completely unreliable.

Very Poorly Made
I have been setting up my bikes tubeless for almost a decade now and have it down to a science. These tires would not seal or hold air for even a short ride. I installed and added sealant as I have on dozens of tires. I noticed immediately that there were tons of small holes in the sidewalls. Having been around this for a long time and seen this on thin racing tires before I know to air them up and leave the assembly horizontal on a 5gal bucket over night which I did on both sides. Still wouldn't seal! I added additional sealant to make sure there would be enough to distribute to the sidewalls while riding. Out of 5 attempts to ride, only one of these rides was I able to make it back without using up a Co2 to get back where I started from. Tubeless has always been super reliable for me. After a week I had to give up. Took these off, bought a different brand, mounted them in the exact same way and all is good. I have never had a tire give me as much trouble as these did.
