Terrible quality product
After having the V1 4 ft slider and loving it, I ordered the 2 foot V2 slider with high expectations. After receiving it, I found that the carriage brake wouldn't tighten, turning the knob in either direction had no effect. Amazon replaced the slider and the 2nd one I got had the reverse problem. I tighten the brake and found that the carriage was indeed locked. I was relieved to have received a working slider, however, I tried to loosen the brake, but the carriage remained fixed. I kept turning the knob a half spin, testing the carriage, until the knob came out. I am unable to put the knob back unless I open the housing, remove the washer screw in the knob, and then pop the washer back on.After having fixed it, I was showing a friend, and before I could warn him, he loosened the knob and it again had to fix the brake by opening the housing.I had also ordered one of these direct from Rhino, thinking maybe Amazon got a bad batch or something. Unfortunately, this slider would not lock, same issue as the first one.Maybe I'm doing something wrong here, but it's not a good design if 3 separate sliders can stop working so easily.Strongly do NOT recommend this slider.

My Favorite Pro Slider
Best slider for the Price. Super fluid movement without bulk and size. Highly recommend this Slider. Pair it with a Manfrotto Fluid Video Head and you will be Golden!!!

SEVERAL issues - 2020
I purchased the pro slider with the arc II. As other reviews that I've read, the carriage brake does not work. The screw popped off and you'd have to take the carriage apart to remove a stopper washer that did nothing for me.The biggest issue is that the software is SO glitchy. It is stuck in a constant "moving to start position" notification, which then makes you reprogram the move over and over and over until the notification finally goes away. This is specifically annoying when you are relying on the same EXACT move for VFX purposes and have to start all over an hour into your shoot. I thought recalibrating would take care of it, so I try to recalibrate it and it gets stuck in a constant state of recalibrating which turns into a grinding sound... I have 2 motors, and have spent well over $3k on this gear, just to get SO frustrated every time I get it out. I STRONGLY suggest finding a better option.
