Q: Can my dog swallow the fibers?

Buyer beware! I have heard of many dogs getting intestinal obstruction from swallowing too much of the rope. It is not specifically this rope toy but all of them. You need to watch your dog while chewing on rope toys. My dogs loves rope toys he tosses them around all over but I only let him have it if I am in the room with him because he will shred them.

Q: Where is it manufactured?

I asked this to Mammoth directly, and here was their response: "Our x-mats are made in the US. Rope toys are made in Mexico/China and TireBiters are made in China."

Q: When they say "premium cottonblend" rope fibers, what is that exactly? my dog always eats a little of the rope

Hi! I didn’t see that described/defined further on the packaging, but the rope had a good, sturdy feel to it and held up to her pit bull jaws fairly decently. At least until she managed to work the knots loose. She ate some of the rope before we tossed the remains, and doesn’t appear any worse for the wear. Hope that helps!
