GLO Effex Blue UV Reactive Water Dye

I am seeing all of the comments about the product not working, but here is my experience with the product so far (<1 month).I have an Olight arkfeld pro flashlight with UV capability and the product fluoresces beautifully using that as the light source. I also have a UV light that came with some UV curing glue that I bought at Home Depot and using this light, the stuff doesn't fluoresce at all.Perhaps the quality of the light used to light the product is what is causing the issues for all of these other customers. Mine works just fine!

The product I received was completely ineffective. I was so disappointed that I took the time to create my own photo reviews so you can judge for yourself: I placed the recommended amount of dye in a bottle of water and left another bottle of water untreated without the dye. When compared side by side under a UV light, it was impossible to determine which bottle was treated with the dye. There was no difference between the water with UV dye added and the water without UV dye. The seller’s claims that this product is a “UV” dye and reacts to a UV light, along with the photos provided by the seller, are misleading at best and downright fraudulent at worst. The only explanation I can come up with is that I received a defective batch of product.I even dumped the raw (undiluted) dye on a piece of paper, it would not glow whatsoever under a UV light. I thought perhaps the UV light was the wrong type of light, so I tried the UV light with a different oil-based UV dye from another manufacturer and it glowed just fine. In other words, the UV light I’m using should work.I work too hard for my money to waste it on products like this. Don’t waste your time or money either.

The uv goes away quickly and takes the entire bottle just to get a good look and it ends up clogging ddc pumps

Ordered blue but we received green it also didn’t glow at all! Don’t waste your money

The product doesn’t work at all. Don’t waste your money on this. I also paid $31.23 for 2 day shipping and the item did not arrive on time. Rip off.

Dont wast your money and time. Could not make it glow anything not even under giant uv light.

Did not work,used entire bottle in less than 1/2 gallon of water and had absolutely no change in color or under black light
