Its a flaschenoeffner! Just like in Germany!
Four Stars= I like it. It's a bottle opener, what's not to like. It's not an amazing innovation that opens bottles by its self, so inspiring that it's causing me to re-think my political beliefs, but it does get the job done and I don't have to use a lighter, kitchen shear, screwdriver, or the edge of the countertop to open my homebrew. It's a mass produced item that's stamped from a sheet of stainless and thrown in a box of about a gazillion bottle openers before they're eventually shipped, and the attention to detail isn't stellar. On some, there may be sharp edges. But hey, it's a bottle opener and Amazon is going to deliver it. Take a scrap of sandpaper to the edges and pay attention to the big circle on the open end before spinning it around your finger like a pistolero or an ultra cool bartender. If you put a nice slice around your trigger finger don't threaten to sue anyone and claim that you weren't warned, opening adult beverages may or may not be inherently dangerous.

It opens beer bottles!
Two for $4 is a great deal. I have one hanging on the fence of my deck and the other in the living room.I've only had it a couple of days, but it certainly works as advertised. I wondered about the round hole, but a description for a similar product says it's for storage and for easily removing bottles from ice. So, that's good.I got two of them, no writing on them. They seem well-crafted, no burrs, edges smooth and squared off like a coin's edge. I hope the one outside doesn't rust over time.Someone said you could bend it and maybe you could with effort, but not easily and probably not accidentally. It's bigger than the old-fashioned churchkey, but maybe that will keep it from getting lost. What can I say? It opens bottles, and they cost $2 each. If you're thinking about buying this product, take the plunge!

yet sturdy. Large for good grip
I ordered two of these to keep around for beer tasting parties and just to use. As a home brewer and former bartender, I can tell you if you don't mind owning something plain Jane then these will fit the bill for all your bottle popping needs. Slim, yet sturdy. Large for good grip, perfect size for pocket if you happen to be a bartender. And unlike some reviews, I must disagree and say these have a nice fit and finish. I'm a professional knife maker now and there is no metal that needed to be touched up on mine. They are smooth and have a flat brushed finish that's perfect for hiding scratches, unlike mirror polished ones I have owned. Overall a very simple and effective tool that will get a lot of use, at least at the rate I'm pumping out beer these days! Two thumbs and bottles up. Cheers!

Two Fantastic Openers!
I was hesitant to get these for a while. The price is right. But the reviews are spooky. If what you're looking for is a set of church keys; BLAMMO you're in luck! I don't know what any of the low reviews are on about. I got two. They open bottles. And I am able to spin them on my finger with the other end. The ones I received had no words on them. The metal wasn't really scuffed or anything.. I honestly have nothing negative to say.Five bucks got me two fantastic churchkeys. :) They open bottles, they're low cost and I'm sure they'll last me a long whiles!

The best bottle opener ever!
This thing is so easy to use. It has plenty of leverage so the caps pop off easily. It's made of sturdy stainless steel and does not bend or warp with normal use - you would have to put it in a vice and really torque on it to bend it. This one was a replacement because my previous one "walked off" after a big party. After years of use, no parts wore out like a standard bottle opener with the double tab.

2 for 1 special
I ordered these bottle openers for my friend who has a yacht and didn't have a good bottle opener. The things I liked about them is that they are stainless steel, which is important to anyone around water! Also, the fact that there were 2 sold as a pair was perfect, 1 for his upstairs and 1 for his downstairs salon. I had them both engraved with the name of his Yacht and gave them to him for his birthday. He loved them. They seem very strong as they are pretty thick metal.

Mine had sharp inside edges
These bottle openers are strong and functional. And flat, so they take up minimal storage space. But on the ones I received, the inside edges were unpolished -- sharp, as if they had just been punched. I don't know whether that's normal or it was just an oversight on that batch at the metal shop, but be careful when you first handle them. I used a steel tool to dull the edges a little; now everything's fine.

These bottle openers look okay, are easy to use, and are inexpensive. I like them, and so does my dog.
I was looking for a simple idiot proof bottle opener that was inexpensive. I only thought I needed one, but I am happy that it comes with two. I put one in a drawer inside my house, and put one on a lanyard on my dogs harness for parties. he loves being the walking bottle opener. The opener tucks in to a pocket on his vest. These bottle openers look okay, are easy to use, and are inexpensive. I like them.
