Sturdy for Safety
Looked for a good, sturdy, well made Cane for both of us, and these fit our specifications. The color is kind of odd, but they do have a metal rod inside the wood, which adds to secure strength. These are handy for many purposes when out and about these days, and will hang on a shopping cart easily. They are of a good weight and we hope to use them for many more years to come. Thank You!

Cane
Nice sturdy cane. Good finish. Low price. I've bought and made several canes. Probably will make a few more. I'm will eventually sand this one and stain it with dark oak. For now, just use it.

Good cane; not walnut
I've used a cane occasionally when I had a sore knee or ankle and when hiking, but recently my wheelchair-bound wife's neurosurgeon said, "The best time to start using a cane is before you fall and hurt yourself, not after." That set me thinking. I'm not as steady on my feet as I used to be and I have stumbled on occasion. I decided to start using a cane regularly. I have a cane I made myself from a cherry tree branch. It's the perfect length for me and elegantly rustic, but the grip angle could be better. After using it on several long walks, I decided I needed a cane easier on my hand. I ordered this one. The folks who say the stickers are hard to get off should get a life and quit whining. I had to shorten it to keep my back straight, but it is strong. The write up says the cane is walnut. As a wood worker, would not choose brittle walnut as the best choice for a cane; this cane is walnut color but the wood is something close to oak or ash and stained walnut brown. I docked them a star for inaccuracy, but I think the cane is reasonably priced, strong, the handle has a good curve, and it looks great. I'm ordering a second.

Sturdy and Looks Nice
This solid wood cane is super sturdy. I feel that these wooden canes look so much nicer than the metal ones. If you prefer the larger cane tip they have those that can be ordered. For such nice quality and sturdiness I believe that this is a great value for my money. People always ask where I got my cane and is it vintage.

Excellent quality and a reasonable price
This traditional cane is just what I was looking for. It seems very sturdy, though I doubt that it is walnut as stated. It appears to be ash (the stuff baseball bats were made from) with walnut stain. This fine and more than strong enough. I am 6' 1" tall and the length of 36" fits me fine. Reviews mentioned difficulty in removing the labels. I applied some naptha, and it came right off. This solvent is available in paint stores and Home Depot and works wonders on any non-water based label adhesive. It will not harm wood finishes.

Oh, those LABELS!
Marketing 10 : Sturdy and solid wood cane but we all complain about the attached labels that are so hard to remove and for some damage the finish. These bad reviews surely limit sales of this otherwise decent cane. To fix the problem and to increase sales, the company should not stick labels this way to the wood. I do hope this bright idea occurs to management!

Nice cane, simple and elegant, with a sturdy rubber end that makes it practical. Needed it while recovering and felt good about using it. It did not make me feel as if I was getting old and feeble, instead I felt kind of cool and stylish!

I switched from a quad cane to this. Works great. Nice and solid, and the height was good with out modification. I recommend this product. Was $25 when I ordered.

I bought this cane to replace my ergonomic one as the latter cannot be hooked onto anything and I spend more time picking it up off the floor than I care to think about...the umbrella hook in this cane is excellent for hooking onto the back of a chair etc. I bought the walnut version instead of the oak. Love it

I weigh 235lbs and this cane is plenty strong enough for me. The handle is a little small for my extra large hands but does allow a comfortable three finger grip. I am 5'9" and the length was sufficient enough that I had to cut off about two inches. The rubber end piece is good quality and provides good grip on most surfaces. My best guess would be that the wood is ash stained to appear like walnut. The finish seems thin and I don't expect it to last long but may result in a very nice patina. Overall a very good deal and quite a nice looking cane in my opinion.
