Q: Is there a strap on the chair to carry it without the bag?

There is not a strap to carry the chair without the bag, but the bag is easy to get on and off...much easier than other bags for chairs I've had before. This chair is my favorite and I use the bag easily.

Q: How do you open and close this chair? I purchased one a couple of years ago. We love the comfort... but it is extremely difficult to open and close.

If your chair joints have tightened up, there may be some loose debris such as dirt or sand. You can use a can of compressed air to clean out the joints and then give it a quick spray with some lubricant. Open and close it a few times working it through the joint and you should be good to go! Reach out to STRONGBACK directly with any other issues you may have. Happy to help!
