I really love this flavor of Emergen-C
I really love this flavor of Emergen-C, but am disappointed that the company uses folic acid (synthetic) rather than folate or folinic acid in this powder. Unfortunately I just learned that I'm one of 30% of the population who can't properly process synthetic folic acid (MTHFR), so I can no longer use this product, as the folic acid makes me (feel) sick. I wish Emergen-C would make a powder without all the other synthetic additives because Vitamin C supplementation is so important to immunity!

Flavoring Doesn't Mask Vitamin After Taste
We were hoping this would be a cost effective alternative to Airborne Effervescent Health Formula, Zesty Orange, 30 Count. The Airborne's are good, but we've been crushing the tablets to make them fizz better in water. So we thought this powdered alternative might be a good substitute. It works ok, and tastes ok, but that's about it. The flavoring doesn't really mask the vitamin supplement smell, or after taste. If you're not sure what I mean by that, then just open a bottle of multi-vitamins, stick your nose in there, and take a good whiff -- that's the smell and taste that's prevalent with these powders. The flavoring is just too weak to mask it, and since it's powdered form, the vitamin smell is actually quite dominant. It's not horrible, but it isn't exactly pleasant either. Definitely not a contender to replace Airborne, which works and tastes much better. But we'll probably still use up the 2 boxes we bought of this. However, if we really feel like we're coming down with something, we'll be reaching for our trusty Airborne over this one, for sure.

Not my favorite flavor
This is definitely not my favorite flavor. It gets the job done and it has the same fizzy sensation that all the others do. There are definitely better flavors of this brand like the classic orange, but I do not think I will be buying this again. I also tried a Lypospheric Vitamin C product with essential phospholipids that I really enjoyed and will probably be buying instead of this product. Don't count this product out though if you enjoy a fizzy product with good flavor, just don't get this flavor.

Below expected quality for this brand
This batch/flavor of Emergen-C does not dissolve, and does not "fizz". When I mix this up, a large portion of the powder mix sinks to the bottom and I feel like I'm not getting all of the dosage, since I'd literally have to scoop up the remnants and eat it with a spoon to get it all. This is a Quality Department failure if ever I've seen one.

Sour flavor
Oh no, I thought pomegranate was sweet, but it turned out to be a sour taste. I ca nāt accept the taste. Maybe some people will like it. After all, everyone ās preferences are different. If you don't like sour taste, don't choose this cranberry pomegranate. To be honest, the other tastes of this brand are pretty good.
