This costume was the deluxe; it was well made and looked great. As the deluxe, it had added foam (for muscles or detail) inside the costume that made it difficult to put on and throwing off the size of the costume. I followed the sizing chart provided and my son is 50 inches tall. The costume was really tight and I couldn't latch the Velcro. My son changed his mind to another costume (Captain Rex non-deluxe, so no foam) of the same size and fit perfectly. The foam may have caused him to get too hot because we had a warm night on Halloween so I think it was for the best. If you live in a cooler part of the country or know it will be cool for Halloween it's a great costume, just keep in mind you may have to go one size up due to the foam depending the measurements of your child.

My son is a skinny, tallish kid- wears size 8-10 for length, but never fills things out width-wise. We ordered a medium for him (size 8-10), and he couldn't even pull it over his shoulders. WAY TOO SMALL. We will be returning this, and trying a different Death Trooper costume. It's a bummer- he was so excited about this costume.

sizing is way off
According these measurements, my son should fit in a medium. Was wayy too small, I ordered the next size up (large) hoping it wouldn't be too big, and it was on back order! Well I ordered anyway, We got it today, and its still TOO SMALL! the "large" is for a 6/7 year old. There is no XL available so lets hope I can get my son what he wants in time for halloween... If you get the size right, the costume is ok for the price.

Nice halloween costume.
Perfect fit and the removable belt adds a more 3d effect than if it was printed on the costume. My son loved it.

Good costume for the money
Since lots of people were having issues with sizing, figured I’d share my experience. Got a Med for my 10 yr old some who is 51 inches tall and 57 lbs. It fits perfectly. If anything a little snug but next size up would definitely be too big. Overall happy with the costume for the price. Hope this helps.

Sizing is way off
Dissatisfied due to the belt being so large it would fit an adult but my normal sized 7 year old can barely squeeze into they’ve costume and all his measurements were within the size chart guidelines.
