Not just for people of faith
☆☆☆☆☆I've read my fair share of books designed to help humanity prepare. Books that map out emergency do's and don'ts, contingency plans for bugging out, how to's for storage and stashing, you name it. The one thing all those books left out, is the one thing this book lovingly addresses. The subject of faith. It hadn't occurred to me before I discovered this book. Which is pretty silly, because I thought I had a pretty sound idea of how to physically prepare for emergencies... but for some reason, I never considered the importance of spiritual preparedness. It's not enough to have food, water and shelter. When preparing for emergencies, EMP's, pandemics, zombies- one must consider how the EOTWAWKI will affect us in the eyes of the Lord. This book did a masterful job at proving that charity can exist during anything, from a car accident to the apocalypse. There are detailed and balanced chapters on dealing with stress, being a witness for God, how to be charitable during disasters, being an effective leader and so on... all the while backing each chapter up with scripture.A horrible world changing disaster is always a possibility. And as believers, we know that God NEVER changes. Aden Tate has taken those two facts of human life and perfectly blended them into a single volume, proving that we don't need to choose between protecting ourselves or practicing our faith. After reading this book, you will find (as I did) that they are two sides of the same coin.

from an experienced Christian believer
I’ve been prepping for many years, absorbing knowledge from many sources.Yet this book made me think about many things I hadn’t previously considered. Now is time to take action and implement, especially since we’re now living through some of the scenarios he discusses.

Very timely.
Almost prophetic in that it’s wisdom included prepping for a pandemic, months before one hit. Especially good in that it explores helping others through disastrous times, as well as being prepared yourself. Medical insight was beyond most books of this nature. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to be prepared, without becoming fearful or compromising on their Christian beliefs.

Excellent Book That Gathers Steam
Tate has provided us a prescient book. No we have not experienced widespread power outages or any other kind of doomsday scenario, government action and legislation combined with a business system designed to keep stock at a minimum, has resulted in Texas being woefully unprepared for a cold snap and toilet paper shelves being emptied of all stock and people by the millions being sent home out of fear. The landscape of the United States has changed since 2020 and is never going back. Tate provided this book before these events happened, but too few of us read it. Getting prepared now will be more challenging, but the time is now. Waiting until tomorrow is too late so read this book and follow Tate's advice and take control of your life. The world needs faithful Christians and regular folk to be civil in the uncivil world being rolled out and planned for the future.

By far the best
I've read several different books & articles which consider a preparedness lifestyle from a Christian perspective. The Faithful Prepper is not a step by step system for preparedness, but it is BY FAR the most comprehensive (and helpful) Scriptural consideration of a godly person's approach to crisis management (whether local SHTF or TEOTWAKI). The author includes copious source notation at the end of each chapter. so the reader is able to follow up questions. I read it on the Kindle app, but will order print copies to reread and to share with others. I highly recommend this book!

Well researched, well written
Well written and thoroughly researched. Aden makes a strong case both scripturally and scientifically that being prepared for whatever may come, be it a hurricane or something worse, is wise. I don't agree with everything stated in the book, mainly the environmental scenarios, but I do agree that being prepared is what everyone should do, both Christians and agnostics. I commend the author in how well documented the book is and how well he backs his ideas with biblical references. I strongly recommend this book as a good read for anyone wondering about the moral aspects of being a prepper.
