oh definitely you might have to move the location of one of the holes but you just plugged the other one or by the little cap for it works perfect

Is this intended as a rear strut or front strut?

I believe it will work for either one. My box opens from both sides and it works just fine which leads me to believe they could work on either end of a single opening box
