This is the perfect thickness for the chair back for the living room that I have. Chair feels like new again. Used a pair of bolt cutters to make quick work of cutting them. Probably overkill to cut it. Just needed an excuse to get a pair of bolt cutters!!

I ordered these springs to replace broken springs in 2 vintage rocking chairs. I initially ordered 8 guage springs but they were too heavy for the project so I ordered these 12 guage. Much better fit for chair seats. I suggest bolt cutters to cut them to length. I am happy with the product but be aware it is advertised as 10 feet and the roll I received was about 7.5 inches short of 10 feet.

You will definitely need bolt cutters to cut to size. Very strong. Useful in the repair we were doing

the zig zag coils were added to a car seat restoration. They went in the seat as planned and look good. The seat has not been used so not sure of the function of the coils, but am happy with the look

IT WAS GOOD BUT I REALLY WANTED A LITTLE HEAVIER GAUGE BUT MAYBE THIS WILL WORK.

Although the wire gage was one gage smaller in diameter, I was able to replace the broken spring and am now sitting in my favorite chair. I purposely ordered more for one spring so I could replace any in the future.

I use this to replace Springs in a lazy boy recliner works perfectly this is the gauge you need

I didn't think these springs would be anything other than what I've normally used for furniture, but these are a much smaller gauge that I guess would work in some car seat applications. Pretty flimsy.
