Chinet plates
They are sturdy and very durable. They hold good amount of food without breaking. With any paper plate they get a little moisture area when you put hot food with dampness to it like cheese or butter but they held up well with it and didn't leak.

Basic Looking But Sturdy And Microwave Safe Plates That Are Compostable, Biodegradable And Made From Recycled Materials
These 8-3/4" Chinet plates are my favorite "everyday" paper plates. These are sized like generous luncheon plates or small dinner plates, and are perfect for outside use in lieu of breakable plates, casual gatherings and any time I need to simplify cleanup. While these plates are basic looking and nothing fancy, they're strong and don't collapse with normal size servings of food. I haven't needed to double these, though I can imagine rare occasions when it could be a good idea- like if someone piles on an extra large portion and has to hold their plate while eating. I've been using these plates a lot lately as a time saving convenience due to family illness, and they work well for anything- even spaghetti with meat sauce and juicy meat cut with a serrated steak knife (which leaves marks but doesn't cut through). Despite using these for a wide variety of food-some really saucy or juicy- I haven't had any leaking issues. One big convenience is these plates are microwave safe and work great for reheating leftovers. Another reason these are my favorite "everyday" disposable plates is because of their "eco friendly" nature. These plates are compostable and made from 100% recycled pre consumer paper (such as packing materials previously used by Chinet at its warehouses). For backyard composting, Chinet says to tear in them into pieces and these will biodegrade in about 60 days. According to Chinet, these plates aren't recyclable but are biodegradable. So if you're not composting, then they say to put them in the regular trash to eventually biodegrade (a process that one can speed up by tearing them into pieces before tossing). These Chinet paper are simple looking but perform very well and are more "eco friendly" than typical paper plates, so I rate them at 5 stars. Definitely recommended. Made in the USA.

Expensive at 25 cents a plate
These are great plates for smaller meals and other uses. They're quite sturdy, and, perhaps more important, they're made in the USA. However, 24 cents a plate is a bit much. In December, 2022 I order 225 of the same product for 13 cents each. It's unlikely I will purchase again until the price comes down, perhaps by a different seller.

Perfect size
Love to use this size plate for everyday use when a dinner size plate is not needed.. plates are very heavy duty so will not bend in half from the weight of the food on your plate….

Only one in this size
If you are looking for sturdy paper plates for those 9" RV paper plate holders, these are what you need. A little on the expensive side but the only brand we have found that still makes them in a size that will fit properly in our paper plate holder. These are 8.75 inch which fit great in the 9" RV paper holders. Everyone else has succumbed to "shrinkflation" and now makes their plates 8.58 inch which do NOT stay in this holder. So glad these are available and praying they never give in to "shrinkflation" and reduce their size.

Too Much Paper on the Plate!
Bought this for an employee backyard party. They don't come in the Chinet packaging. It came in some shrink wrapped plastic, and the edges around each and every plate was shaggy and ugly. I went right out to the local Target and purchased nicer, sturdier plastic coated paper plates. These absorb juices and yes, it comes out on the bottom on your lap. Cheap, ragged plates.
