Astral Sea Wolf PFD Kayak Lifejacket-Yellow-S/M

Looks great. Matches my kayak but hard to perform rescues or simply re-enter your boat because of the concentrated padding in the middle. Most PDFs-- yes, the less attractive ones spread out padding so that you can place your chest flush on the deck while attempting to re-enter. This PDF just creates an extra mound to clear. Great yellow color. Great overall look. Nice Compartments. Utility factor - pretty poor.Sad.

Great life vest over all. I love the pockets and the freedom it gives for you to move your arms around.ConsIt is a little bulky so it can be hard to get into a boat from in the water. The back pockets are slightly harder to reach. In the water it doesn't feel like it gives you much bouency

A very nice vest! Pluses: It doesn't look like it would hold much but it has a lot of capacity and little pockets in handy places. The fleece pocket is a luxury feature. The Sea Wolf has a side zip entry which is much more convenient than the pullover PFD models. It is very comfortable with a lot of freedom for paddling. It has a lot of straps so it is very simple to customize the fit. Minuses: A few more attachment rings would be nice, although there are cord loops inside the front panel. A place to attach a knife would be nice. It is one of the more expensive vests but worth it. I am delighted with my purchase.
