the book is marvelous?. what GREAT photos!, Many of the pictures bring back memories of the war, as I lived during the times shower in the book. My one sone, is a history person,especially a out airplanes, so the book will be his Christmas gift this year!, Wonderful photos.

Excellent book! While I knew it would be an impossibility, I couldn't help but look for my own granddad's face in all the lovely pictures. It wasn't to be, but I still loved reading about these men and women. The Museum's website is brilliant as well--please check it out!

USAAF in UK...during WW2.... Good interesting book about friendly American Invasion

This was a surprise present for my husband's birthday as his main hobby is the Americans in Britain in WW2 and he was thrilled with it, fantastic original photos of all aspects of their lives here. The book is a real gem.
