I bought these glasses more because they are made without any lead whatsoever than because of their style. I like to drink lemon and honey and other acidic beverages without concern for lead leeching. It is surprising how much lead is allowed in our eating and drinking vessels in the USA! Anyway, I did not really buy these Luminarc glasses for their style but as it so happens they are not only safe but really pretty in a practical, elegant way. They are sturdy too and feel good in your hands. My dishes and glasses are eclectic as my focus is function and safety first, but these Luminarc tumblers are so understatedly pretty that I want to buy more and have matching glasses!

The glasses are perfectly nice and I like them. In my case though, one of the glasses is lopsided. I have no knowledge of how glasses like this are manufactured but nevertheless one of mine tilts to one side. They are too inexpensive to bother with returns but I'll still use the other three in the set and I wouldn't put anyone off from ordering them.

This is (1) broken/cracked glass, 2nd pix has a sight hair line crack, all other (3) has the same. What can I do?

These glasses appear to have vertically straight sides, but do not. The bottom of the glass is larger than the top. Contour is somewhat fluted. They are beautiful though. I ordered the matching 16 ouncers too.
