I have had the exact same mat for almost 6 years now and its still going strong. I use it 3 or 4 times a week for a variety of lessons in my local gym to include Yoga, Pilates and various Les Mills classes. The design on the mat is functional and helps with alignment so you can correct yourself and/or see if your improving with length of lunge etc. There is no smell to mat which is bounce when you get in close proximity. The mat surface is excellent quality with no signs of wear over the years. Another plus is the edges don't curl and the mat will roll out flat ever time. The only issue a you might have is the mat is thin so if you are used to a thicker mat that provides cushioning it might not be right for you? That said, this one fact has never bothered me.
