Luckkya Ultrasonic Dog Chaser,Orange Animal Deterrent with Motion Sensor and Flashing Lights Outdoor Solar Farm Garden Yard Repellent,Dogs,Cats,Birds

I purchased this Ultrasonic Chaser, but was extremely skeptical and was wondering how this "thing" can actually work!! Ok, it can make the noise, it can light up when the "creature" is around, but... what can make that they will be scared enough to not come back??? I didn't know and.. being honest I still have no idea but.. it WORKS!!!!My long story short :) Had couple of cats coming over to my backyard and... poop in one particular place (in the corner where there is more ground exposed and some weeds growing). I asked my friends what to do, search on the internet for some solutions and.. finally found a few different ultrasonic devices on Amazon in my price range! I decided to choose this one bc of (now you might start laughing) the color!! Thought that nice orange will make a perfect addition to my backyard :) And of course the price! Sooo... just in case I bough two of them :) [why? you gonna find out soon]As I said I was very skeptical so I tested it right away on my cat inside the house and.... even if I turned it on almost next to him he didn't react at all - it was like "new toy?? what is it?? let me take a sniff" :D But... I didn't give up! I placed it in the backyard and... next day... no poops!! Cats were coming over anyway, but I don't mind them visiting me, I just hate what they were leaving for me!! Day two: no poops at that spot I mentioned so in the corner but.. they were smart!! they dumped where the Ultrasonic was out of range!! Soooo.. what I did?? I unpacked the second unit and placed in another spot to cover the area!! Did it work?It's about a week now and I haven't seen any cats since I placed the second unit!! Not only there is no smelly "things" in my backyard, but there is also no cats coming over!! I kinda felt lonely :D But my own cat is happy bc there is no "competition" anymore!! :)So there is something I noticed: when one of the cats was walking in the range of the first unit and it started blinking and making this clicking noise - he jumped up and ran away! Just in case I did the same to show him I'm scared too!! :D All happened after dark so the light was really strong and visible! Maybe this is how it's so effective!!I'm sad I don't see those kitties around but in another hand... I'm happy that problem was solved!! Hope this will help you to make your own decision about the purchase!! Just give it a try!! You have nothing to lose except the strange cats coming over :)P.S. Bought two to keep neighood dog walkers off lawn. I live in Florida so lots of sun for charging. Device wouldn't hold enough solar charge to last 24 hours. No alternate means to charge or any battery backup. Device is either off or on. No other settings. I think the blinking light uses most of the power but it can't be turned off separate. I tried it with my cats and it was useless. See photos. Disappointing. Will return to Amazon. The device comes with a certificate that stated if you post a positive review and send them a copy they will give you an Amazon $30 gift card which is more then it costs so it's essentially free.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This seems to be keeping away a hissing and angry feral cat that seems to take home on my porch. I initially tried to rescue it with a trap and release cage; tried feeding it, and bought a little bed for it outside. She was not having any of it. Eventually, it was having issues with our dog, so I had to help it to move along without causing it harm. I’ve had this up 3 days and I have not seen her. I’m attributing it to this machine. Only time will tell if it truly did the trick. So far, the sun panel works for charging. The machine flashes a white light first, then clicks and mini flashes of red, followed by a faint sound that I actually could hear.

Had a cat growing up (along with boxers and a pit), had a cat in college, have a cat currently. I like the animals. That said, I do not like the feral cat colony this maniac across the street decided to make official with the city. We have no recourse for the disgusting violations of our personal property, in fact the city encourages this “solution” to stray cats. (aren’t they still strays there are just a TON of them now???) Anyway, I’ve tried a lot of things. The motion detecting sprinkler, okay—inaccurate and a waste of water m, goes off randomly. I tried orange sprays, I’ve tried zero-scaling the flower beds, yet 2 of these devices set on either side of my front atrium area has all but turned my yard into a NO CAT ZONE - and that’s their choice because this thjng is really obnoxious. For the price and simplicity I doubt you’ll find anything better at fending off pests

They say it keeps away pesky criters... ok let's see. It has only been a few days. So far it has keeps pest away as I have seen no new poop in my yard so I assume it may be working. Will update in a month. So far I am holding them to their claim.Also very important don't forget to let it charge at least a day. Simply put it in the sun with the power off and let it charge.

I had my doubts about the claims made … But this Ultrasonic Animal Deterrent HAS made a difference. When we moved in earlier this summer several otters were using our dock for their dining room and were digging holes in the bank. So I placed this in the ground facing the dock and have not seen any evidence that they have been back since. I know lights flash and it makes some noises that I can hear whenever we are on the dock. It has worked so well that this is actually my second purchase, which I put facing a few tomato & pepper plants in my side yard that the deer had been munching on … They also seem to have been deterred from returning. I love that it is solar powered. I will likely purchase a couple more.

Update: I purchased 3. After one week, 1 stopped working. After a month, another stayed on all the time. The high pitched noise will get on your nerves. I reached out to the company and they could care less!ZERO STAR DESERVED******
