Is this battery operated only or does it have a power cord?? (Dunno why they can't make this detail obvious, nothing on the packaging either)

Power Cord.  It is detachable which makes it easy to pack for travel.

Question 2

Mine is new and leaks out the bottom and sides how can it be the bottle?

I have had this unit for a few months now and it was great.  Lately all it does is leak water everywhere!!!  Help!  Is there a solution to this issue?

I bought two of these over the course of a year and finally gave up on this particular unit. I loved the ease of use and run time, but it would not hold up to nightly use. Both units worked fine for about 90 days and then began to leak. They might be good for occasional use while traveling and may last longer but not for nightly use.

The mist is almost nonexistent. Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for your question.  You can adjust the mist output on the product.  We also recommend you clean the product:  CLEANING AND CARE
CAUTION: Before cleaning the unit, turn power off and disconnect pin plug.
WATER BOTTLE CLEANING
Remove the water bottle mount and set aside. If reusing an empty water bottle, we suggest
cleaning the water bottle once every two to three weeks.
WATER BOTTLE MOUNT CLEANING
Remove the water bottle mount from the bottle. Rinse with cool water.
RESERVOIR CLEANING
Remove the water bottle mount and top cover. Clean the water
reservoir with a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water once every two to
three weeks.
ULTRASONIC MEMBRANE CLEANING
To clean the ultrasonic membrane, you must remove the water
bottle mount and top cover. Fig. 1 Empty any water remaining in the
Water Reservoir.
Make a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Dip a soft bristle
brush into the solution and brush the ultrasonic membrane. Fig.
7 Wipe clean with a soft cloth. NOTE: DO NOT pour water into the
ultrasonic membrane or submerge in water. DO NOT touch the
ultrasonic membrane with your fingers.
SURFACE CLEANING
Clean the surface of the unit with a clean damp soft cloth.
