Bright but may not be easy to install for some
25W Smart LED RGB Floodlights Outside, Ustellar5/5 Brightness4/5 Easy to installIt doesn't come with a remote, but it can be controlled by downloading the 'Shine Light' app.I am not new to Smart gadgets like this, so I find them easy to use and install. But when I asked my sister about it (first-timer), she finds it frustrating and total rubbish. It does not come with a user manual. The QR code needs to be scanned for you to dl the digital manual, then it will give you gives step-by-step instructions on how to connect your phone to the floodlight. The app does all this job. It doesn't have any buttons or remote control to change the lights, dim them or set the timer. If you're the old-school type who doesn't wanna use Wi-Fi to control it using a device or gadget, or if you're planning to install this in a secluded place where there's no Wi-Fi connection, skip this and find a more straightforward outdoor light. If you're planning to let it sit on the ground, the cable might be a little annoying as it protrudes on the rear. However, the cable is approximately 111cm, so if this is too short for you, then you might as well get an extension cord. In my opinion, it is too short. These floodlights are of good size as it's made from durable steel. The wiring is thick and well-made. It's rated IP 66, which makes it suitable for extreme weather, but I can't attest to it yet as it hasn't rained or snowed that hard.It has pros and cons, but this set is of high quality. It has a considerable angle that can illuminate a huge space in a property/area.Overall, I find it recommendable but needs a bit of improvement.

Ustellar: 25W Smart LED RGB Floodlight (Single Pack)
This is an extremely lightweight, slimline and compact RGB LED floodlight with "smart" controls.Included in the box you will find:• RGB floodlight.• Leaflet (QR code for an E-manual an the APP required). It was a bit disappointing to see no wall plugs and screws being included, especially as this is a floodlight, a type of light which typically get mounted on the wall...If you don't want to wall mount the light, you can use the bracket to stabilise and place it at an angle on the floor (shine it up a wall for some extra ambiance). If doing this, you will have to place the light upside down as the cable is not overly flexible and points downwards, so makes it awkward to position otherwise.Setting up the light is very straight-forward, though you do need a smart device as it relies purely on an APP to adjust everything such as colour, saturation and brightness etc... Make sure you have the 'Shine Light' APP installed and your Bluetooth is enabled. It was super quick to find the light and get it added and adjusting the output couldn't be any simpler. If you have multiple lights, there is a "Group" option so you can control all at the same time. The results are brilliant, it produces a nice bright light, no matter what colour is selected.✔ Pros:✓ Compact size.✓ Responsive APP that's easy to use.✓ Bright light output.✓ Great choice of colours to choose from.✖ Cons:✘ Doesn't include the necessary screws to install on a wall.

Bluetooth enabled
I read a review on here which talks about wifi connection to this light. That would be nice if it was true - but it is not. It is controlled via bluetooth connection to your phone and via the Shine Light app. That is a 44mb app that requires android v5 or later. I found that the BT connection was a bit flaky and I get the feeling that the app is in the early stages of development. On balance I think I would prefer one of those cheap infra red remote controls - which do seem to be pretty reliable - and they all seem to work on various lights that I have.Eventually I did get it up and running - at least to test it. I think that I am going to have to re-wire it for proper installation. The wire coming out of it is short (as are most) and the bracket is fairly basic. The light itself is fine. The colours are good and at 25w it puts out plenty of light. So there is potential here if they can sort out the app so it is more reliable. If they put wifi in and made it work with Smart Life app as well I would definitely give it 5 stars!

Very short power lead.
This light is a bit of a mixed bag. As a light, it works ok, but it’s limited in where it can be placed and the App is fiddly to download and use.The build quality seems good. The bracket can be used to angle the lamp on a shelf or table or screw into wall ( no screws or rawlplugs supplied). But the significant limitation is the lead which is only about 3’ long. You need an extension cable if you’re not very close to a power socket and used outside, that would have to be waterproof. So there’s likely to be additional expense. There are no instructions; you have to scan a qr code to download the App and I found it all very fiddly and slow. Plus, it will only work on the phone with the downloaded App. I think that too is limiting. I don’t want to leave my phone around nearby…it needs to connect via Bluetooth to the lamp to work. That was temperamental too.The lights are bright and the light show with music is great, but there are other models which I think perform better and have a remote to control.
