It works but still flawed
It doesn't stay on tight like the original designs, so if you are using a thicker strap you will have to continuously tighten it.

Great for thick belts lost bolts
I often use the Peak Design capture system on a padded tactical belt. Anything sold as tactical or military seems to be cheaper and tougher than anything marketed for photography. You need the long bolt for a thick belt. Works great.
