Q: does this molding have the thin black edge along the top of chrome strip like oem molding, or is the top edge chrome all the way around?

Just like the OEM molding , the ribs also will accept your series designation -- you will need to remove the tabs before instillation and apply with super trim adhesive. Black is best.

Q: will I be able to attach 150 emblem to this molding so that it will look like factory?

Not likely, that particular molding is lower on the body than where the factory f-150 logo would be placed. The design of the molding as well would pose an issue if you did want to attempt to place an emblem on it to hold for a long period of time.

Q: does this molding have the texture like the OEM does or is the black part smooth?

The texture is very similar to the OEM moldings on my ‘95 Silverado. It’s a light pebble finish. After 2 years mine are still looking good.
