#1 BIDET on the market! Get the Butt Buddy asap...it's LIFE CHANGING!
I have to warn you, Butt Buddy is about to change your life for the better in a major way! I have seen bidets before when traveling in Europe and usually it will be a separate unit from the toilet. Actually gave it a whirl and not going to lie, it's a bit weird at first. The amazing thing is that strange sensation is quickly replaced with the amazing feeling of being clean, the same kind you would only get from the shower. After researching available options and seeing how affordable and easy they are to install, I went ahead and bought a bidet attachment for my current toilet. It is truly a must and you will know what I'm talking about once you try it. Butt Buddy is the third bidet I have purchased (three bathrooms in the house) and it is my favorite yet. Having tried several different bidet variations, I've started to notice slight differences between them. Here are my main criteria for choosing attachable bidet: I wanted something simple, easy to use and that does not require electrical outlet, a bidet had to fit existing toilet and not compromise toilet functionality in any way, bidet needs to be a good quality and reliable over long-term. Last thing anyone wants is a leak or flood in the bathroom. With that said, here is my experience with Butt Buddy.Nice and clean design is a big plus! My first bidet was sticking out at the back spray part and was somewhat intruding on the toilet bowl. Not this one, spray part sits neatly at the very back of the toilet bowl and doesn't obstruct space whats so ever. I also like that it has round adjustable connectors to attach it under the toilet seat and very low profile. Square connectors do collect a lot more dirt (best case scenario) and a tad bulkier and that can change angle of the toilet seat. This bidet fits perfectly and does not interfere with the toilet seat at all.Everything needed to connect bidet to the toilet is included in the package. The stainless steel supply hose is definitely a plus over a plastic one, a roll of plumber/teflon tape and a durable splitter. It literally took minutes, less than 10, to instal this bidet on the existing toilet and the only tool needed was a small wrench. Turn off the water before you start!!! I kinda forgot that step when installing first bidet so don't repeat my dumb mistakes! Instructions are very straight forward but basically the splitter is attached to the water tank and to the supply hose you already have. The hose that comes in packaging is attached to splitter and the bidet, right under the control knob. I didn't even use the teflon tape when connecting to the plastic parts as seals are very good and tight. Turn the water back on slowly and should be good to go. Pretty hard to mess up really, even if not very handy.I do like the sprayer and the control knob on the Butt Buddy bidet. There are versions out there that use two knobs but I like the single knob design. Turning it clockwise activates the sprayer and counter-clockwise performs self-wash of the sprayer. It's intuitive and sprayer has good pressure and doesn't sprinkle off target even at low water pressure. Another difference I noticed is that this knob is very sturdy as well. My very first bidet had loose plastic knob that actually ended up breaking on the twist pin after about half year of use and made turning bidet on/off very difficult. So far Butt Buddy is my fave bidet. My wife and son also like this one more. And yes, your whole family will appreciate this amazing upgrade to the conventional toilet! We still use the toilet paper but it's more for patting self dry and not trying to scrape off what is much better washed. Give bidet a try and the only thing you'll be saying afterwards is 'why didn't I get one sooner'!

Economy and cleanliness combined
Bidets are used by millions of folks throughout the world as a standard for toilets. COVID has made the toilet paper supply not as available as before. We (the U.S.) need to find alternatives to the huge amount of toilet paper we consume, and the bidet is a viable alternative.A complete unit with a built-in bidet can be quite expensive. I researched a lot of these add-on bidet devices to find one that was not expensive, and would be durable, easy to use and install, and still perform as expected.Installation was pretty straight forward, but was difficult for me because of the cramped space in a small bathroom and the fact that I'm 67. It took me about 15 minutes from start to finish to install the unit. That was pretty quick considering all the things that could go wrong.Read the instructions to be certain you understand the process before you ever start. It's difficult to be reading instructions while you are performing the installation. Connection to the toilet tank went smoothly.Connection nozzle on the device is on the underside of the unit, so you cannot easily view the connection unless getting down on the floor. When connecting the water line to the device, have patience to be certain you haven't cross-threaded and that the connection has been screwed all the way for secure seal. On my first attempt, there was a bit of leaking from the joint on the unit until I got the connection screwed in completely. There was a chance to try it out soon after I completed the installation. The unit worked as intended and I was clean without using any toilet paper except to dry off. I recommend drying off before standing to be sure you don't have unwanted residue that might get on the bathroom floor. This is a bare-basics unit with manual control (no electronics) and only cold water connection, and is affordable to everyone. I would highly recommend it.You can spend more to have the inclusion of heated water; however, the more working parts you have involved, the more things can go wrong. Hope this will help if you are on the fence about whether to try out a bidet.
