Very comfortable chair. I am 5 feet and 105 lbs for reference. The seat feels durable to me, but my husband says it feels like he’s going to fall over. Since I bought it solely for my use, it’s not a problem. I used it several times during our beach trip and loved it! It is a little heavier than most of the camping chairs, but not bad at all. It weighs 9lbs, so definitely not heavy, just not as lightweight. It’s pretty easy to set up. I just wished there were locking clips to keep the seat in a reclining position or sitting up position. It wasn’t hard to deal with, but that would’ve just been a nice little added touch. Love the pockets on the side for my phone and for sunscreen/book whatever. Definitely loved the ability to have the seat in a sitting up or reclining position! Love the foot rest, but it’s just a little awkward and in the way when you try to get out of the seat, but definitely not a reason to not purchase. The first couple days of receiving my chair, it smelled really bad like bad plastic/chemicals. I think since airing it out at the beach, it’s ok now. Definitely a good purchase though. I would recommend this if you are in the market for a comfortable reclining camping/beach chair. It folds up into the size of any other camping chair and stores away easily.

I bought this to watch the meteor shower at Joshua Tree. It is nicely designed and portable. This can replace a folding bed for camping so you can go anywhere where shade is available.

Is not the best chair for the beach since the collapsable system (very complex for a chair) gets sand in between the plastic and metal making very hard to slide. But lets not blame the sand, the "folding" system is not simple. I would say that even taking this chair to the park would be the same with no sand envolved.Its comfortable but not easy to change positions to a more nap mode (chaiselong) . You have to get up from the chair move some parts, hold it and kind of jump over.The truth is that i wanted to returned it on the first day but i'm not that type of customer who orders and return.By the time I made the purchase the reviews were almost 5 stars. Now is under 4 (3 point something) and I understand why.the plastic pats of the chair started to tear in the first times I use it.I wouldn't recommend to buy it because it's not eve affordable. Now waiting that it brakes completely to get a new one even tho every time I use it I curse like truck driver.... LOL yea... I know I should get a new one, a different one.

No tears, bags to carry them in.Full recline you just have to pay attention to how the bars move. At first I was struggling but the pictures on Amazon and some playing with it I figured it outI would buy them againCan’t wait to put these on the lake slip and take a nap!
