It's exactly what I was looking for. It was a bit tricky to install initially but we surely managed afterwards. It comes with a handy took for tight corners.

I have used these on my windows to secure the windows while I have them open a little at night for a few months now. I am very happy with them. They work great. The larger key works better. I keep the keys out of the locks so even if someone took off the screen and reached in they wouldn't be able to remove the locks. I would love to buy another set if they are available again.

New home with windows 3 feet from the floor. Leaving a window open on accident that might allow someone access to the house worried me. There are lots of security bars and items like these on the market. Don’t want to live in a prison other similar items had sharp screws that would damage or require drilling into the window glide. These are flat ended screws with plastic to further protect the slides. Easy to install (above and bellow). I can slide them to readjust how much to open the window with easy to use keys for every stop and a master for every 4 sets. I don’t have to search for a key and I can hide them if children need protection.

Did not fit our newer windows. The safety devices looks straightforward, however I could not get them to attach to our window frame.

I've been looking for window locks to keep my kids from attempting to open windows but also gives us the option to open the window if needed without breaking the locks or having the kids find out how they work. Many locks are perfect for children who don't get curious and try to solve lives riddles like locks and such, however my little one can see something done once and do it herself no problem. With a few minutes and curiosity alone she can figure out the refrigerator locks, cabinet locks and door locks. I didn't want windows to be her next feat.As annoying as it may be to have locks in the house that require magnet keys and difficult latches, my child's safety is number one. The lock does not easily pop off and slide around to allow opening of windows without using the key to unscrew the lock from the window. What I did end up doing to make sure windows could be opened to allow airflow was to adjust the lock to be on only far enough to maybe squeeze a hand or forearm out if you really tried. She can have fresh air and I can have piece of mind.These are locks she will not be able to figure out anytime soon ad with more littles in the house now they won't be able to learn from big sister on how to open a locked window. 100% reccomended

We were needing some window locks so we could leave the windows cracked for the swamp cooler the ones that are sold at the convenient stores are too narrow we shopped around found these and they work amazing and it’s nice that each one comes with its own key so you can leave it on the windowsill and if you decide to open the window some more you have that ability
