This was probably my best Amazon transaction ever!, it came super early, a week before it was scheduled to. Both boxes came at the same time. The boxes are HEAVY so if going upstairs with it, unpackage first. It'll be more trips obviously but so much easier. My husband kept asking how much we paid for it because he couldn't believe so well it was made for just 154 plus shipping. It looks like we spent 1000 dollars! The blue isn't a true navy, it's like a dark denim color and it looks almost black on pictures (not in person though) but it still matches very well with my navy accents and my teal pops with it! We haven't slept in it yet but it seems very sturdy. I'll update if something goes wrong. Its also a pretty low bed but our bedroom has lower ceilings and high Windows so it actually made the room feel taller. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Do NOT BUY THIS BED!!! This bed was infested with bed bugs. It looks great, and the prices is awesome but the cost to get rid of this thing has been a headache. DO NOT BUY, I plead of you!

I LOVED this bed when I came across it on amazon. I read reviews and looked at the customer pictures who already purchased this item. Sadly, i put my bed together and a few days later I noticed i was getting hives. And i took my medicine and changed laundry soaps. Sadly they kept getting WORSE. I checked my mattress when someone told me i had bed bugs. I was like , no i have never had bed bugs, I was under the impression I was allergic to something. Than 2 months went by, and i decided to switch my room around. When i looked at the back of the bed frame, there it was. A BUNCH of babies, eggs, adults, you name it. There were so many, i cried, i was scared, and i was mad. I purchased something that cost me nearly 200 dollars. And i got the package that had bed bugs. I am highly disappointed. I threw away the bed due to how many bed bugs were living in the flap thingy that felcros behind the head board.

Thank goodness for Amazon buyer reviews. Buying a bed is a difficult decision in general, and buying it online without actually seeing the product first, makes it even more complicated! For weeks, we visited many big box furniture stores, online furniture sites, only to find beds we liked were either out of stock, or way beyond our budget. After looking through Amazon, finding this bed and reading all the great feedback, we decided to take a chance and order it.Pros1- Great value to price item. The bed is solid and looks exactly like the pictures. It was also very comparable to many expensive beds we saw in the furniture stores.2. Quality of fabric- the linen is heavy duty and was wrapped with nice precision. We had no issues with bunching or ripped seams, etc.3. Well packed- The bed arrived in two separate boxes, on the same day, through the same carrier. We saw a few reviews that mentioned different boxes arriving at different times. We never had that problem. The tracking stated it would be delivered on a certain day, and it was. All items were intact, well cushioned and complete.ConsThere was only one con, albeit a small one. The directions are only good for outlining the pieces and parts, and how many you should have received. There are no instructions for assembly- none at all. There are only some diagrams that show the pieces assembled, but there is no indication for which bolts to be used on which parts. My husband was handy and experienced enough to figure it out easily, but I can see where some reviewers experienced a little bit of confusion here.Some tips to help other buyers out:1. The longest bolts should be installed at the headboard end, to secure the two side wings in the back to the headboard.2. Every bolt, regardless of the size, should be installed with a lockring and a washer, for a more secure fit. There are enough washers and rings for every bolt.3. The screws are all intended for the slats. The slats have pre-drilled holes, but none of the sideboard piece. So, ideally, you would have a drill that would make your life a whole lot easier.4. The middle support legs are are adjustable, just turn the bottom screw to adjust the height.Total time to install with 1 person doing most of the work, and another one just occasionally holding parts in place was about 1.5 hours. If there were instructions, it would probably take 1 hour. Either way, this con was not enough to even affect my 5 star rating for this bed, simply because this bed was such a good value. It's a sturdy, nice looking piece that was true to the pictures on Amazon. When I have time, I will upload some of my own.

I was looking at similar beds for $600 for a few years. Finally found this one and so thankful. This bed is quality and sturdy.the material is a very nice dark grayish navy. I put it together by myself in abt 1-2 hrs. (I'm 140 lb petite female with little muscle). I am picky abt my decor but it is beautiful. I have a memory foam mattress and there was no gap. For this price, I actually expected a cheap knockoff but I was very surprised by the quality and construction. Also, you cannot tell in the picture but there is even a diamond stitch between button tufts, adding to the authentic look. Chrome nailhead trim looks and feels sturdy. Sides and footboard march headboard & supports are sturdy. All hardware including locking washers was present and small tools (though I would recommend using your own power screwdriver with Allen wrench bit). All hardware used the same bit making it very easy to assemble.
