Great for the guy on his knees while working...
I have ordered these pants for my husband several times. He gets down on his knees a lot doing sprinkler work. These are the only jeans that hold up. Good heavyweight blue Jean material double layered on the knees. I will continue to order these over and over. Thanks for a great quality product.https://www.amazon.com/Workwear-Wrangler-Utility-Antique-Indigo/dp/B000A2KAU8/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

They're better than carharts
These pants are rugged! I use them when doing any work. They're better than carharts. I've used them working on cars trucks tractors, working horses and cutting trees. Excellent work pants. Fit above the waist. Only complaint is the suspender buttons dig into your side but can be removed

If you're used to Carhartt, read this.
I wear Carhartt double knee jeans nearly every day, but I thought I'd try these. First the good points: They are well built, sturdy denim with a softer finish right out of the box. The construction is of the same superior quality I've grown to expect from Carhartt. The rear pockets are reinforced with Cordura on the inside, which runs the full height of the pocket. Since I'm not a suspenders fan the bachelor buttons on the inside of the waist were a nuisance easily removed with a utility knife, which is easier than cutting off riveted bachelor buttons. There were a few drawbacks, mostly due to my personal habits. The leather reinforcement on the right pocket for tape measures seemed like a good idea because I do wear out that spot, but when I'm not carrying a tape measure I like to carry a small knife, but the tab is too bulky. The hammer loop is on the right but I'm just accustomed to it being on the left. The real deal breaker for me is that the tool pocket (which is on the left) is slightly too small for my iphone 6, which roughly is 6"x3"x1/2" in its case. The pocket is actually large enough, but the angled opening has bar tacks which make it ever so slightly too narrow to comfortably fit the phone case. Since a phone has become an indispensable tool, while it may feel silly to let technology determine what jeans I wear, it's the reality of the situation.

The new best
These Wrangler's are the best value bar none. I found a brand I overlooked and never considered until I looked for rugged work jeans. These pants fit better than hoped for. While I really like Carharts, Wranglers will be my new "go to" work/casual pants. The comfort, style and protection are unmatched.

Replacing my carhartts
so far so good have out lasted my last carhartts. Feel thick and heavy enough stitching is holding unlike my carhartts which I paid more for. Hard to find heavy duty anything now a days I've finally let carharrt die in my heart and not just over a pair of pants. These seem to be a good alternative so far. A bit more baggy though

Not the same quality they used to be.
I’ve been wearing Wrangler Riggs for about 10 years now. My first few pairs lasted well over 5 years. I bought 2 pairs about a year ago and they both failed. One the zipper broke and one ripped across the crotch. Time to find a new brand of durable work jeans.

Great pants
Hammer loop on the right. Comfortable tough. A little lighter than other double knee pants

New favourite
As a former carharrt only pants guy, after the price just kept going up, I've even trying many brands. These are the next best I have found, the durability and the price beat out the likes of dickies.
