SUPER easy to use, SUPER affordable!
One pen holder has a silver medal insert and the other one has a gold medal insert. Removing the inserts, installing the nibs, and replacing the inserts, and making final adjustments or all very easy to do. The nibs that came with the pen holders were pretty good quality and offered several choices. Suggestion: in order to make the ink stay on the nib when you dip it you need to remove the oil off of the metal nibs that was used in manufacturing and polishing. You can do this with cleaner or light a match and pass the tip of the nib over the match for a couple seconds on each side. Then when you dip the nib in the ink the ink stays on the nibs you can write much longer. Happy creating!

I give them an okay
I like that they're cheap in price don't like that they're cheap in quality.

Good for beginners and as a backyp
These are cheap and i havent used the nibs yet but they will get the job done. I modified one of them to be an offset paintbrush extension for painting. It seems like it will work so im happy- didnt want to do that with a $20 pen

They're ok if you don't want to commit
Before I start on the negatives, for the money these aren't a bad way to dip your toes into calligraphy. They're affordable and they do work. They nibs that are included actually belong in oblique pens, which is usually not the case in what I've seen on Amazon. You can also convert these pens from oblique to straight holders allowing you to try multiple types of calligraphy. You get what you pay for with this set. The holders are cheap plastic with scratchy parts where the plastic wasn't cut cleanly. The nibs are not good quality. A quality nib will cost you about $1-3/each. The ink does not hold onto these nibs like they would a quality nib even after properly prepping them. Some of the nibs are more flexible than others, so proceed with caution. The inner part of the pen that holds the flange pulls out on some of them, but reinserts easily. For the money, it's a decent start to decide if you want to actually invest in decent tools.
