Slip-streamer S06 Spitfire Windshield - tinted
I have a 1980 XS650 special. I am looking for some relief from the cold wind during winter riding. I had some motocross handlebars on my Motorcycle. With these very low bars (1.5 inch rise, 3 3" pullback) The windshield was raked back a ton. This looked excellent however offered very little wind protection. It was better than without but not by much. I changed the bars out to some extra bars I had lying around. These have a 5 inch rise and 7 inch pullback. I was able to put the windshield at an almost vertical angle. This works very good. It really pushes the air away. It does not look nearly as good though. The old bars are really not that great. Not as bad as buck-horns but still way to much pullback. However the windshield is doing what I want with these bars. So I just ordered the Daytona handlebars which has a similar rise but much less pullback. I am sure that this combination will work very well.Initially I was hesitant to get such a small windshield. But with the adjust-ability and the near vertical setting I feel it is everything I wanted. The windshield itself and the hardware are very good. I used an thread bonding agent for the thumbscrews to keep them from coming out. It was very easy to install. Removing and adjusting it is easy as well. I don't care for the logo stuck on it saying "spitfire" in huge red letters. I will figure out how to get it off eventually. At highway speed it is very comfortable. I was surprised at the way I will ride faster with the windshield. The sense of speed diminishes a lot with a windshield. this can be good or bad. I think I will get less tired at highway speeds. I am think this will be a year round addition to my bike. Fro around town speeds it works great. It pushes the air away even at 25 MPH. this is really want I wanted as I usually do around town riding and its the cold air when in the 20s or 30s that was getting to me. This resolves this issue I think. Based on other reviews it seemed a windshield was only helpful at highway speeds. This is NOT the case. It helps all around.I got the tinted windshield for looks. However when riding I think the clear would have been better. Time will tell. The tinted does look very good.

Excellent Value and Performance
A universal windshield like this one seems like a better solution as it can be adjusted to work best for different riders. I’ve read reviews of other specific application windshields that some people like and some people hated. It is because they couldn’t adjust it to where it works best. When I first installed it, it was very noisy even at low speeds. I was able to adjust it down and back and now it’s much nicer and way more comfortable riding high speeds on the highway. The spitfire works well on the Duke but I had to modify the clamps a little for the tapered handlebars. Maybe the 1-1/4 clamps would have been better with some rubber or other spacer because where it clamps is about 1.1” and tapered. Excellent value for the money.

Very quick install. No movement in the windshield at all no matter the speed with the placement i chose. Protects my body and head which is more than i expected for the size. Using my hand to feel where it protects at about 60mph the wind hit around the top of my visor and doesn't cause any noticeable buffeting and actually directs wind nicely right into the top vents. Considering this is a universal mount no way i can say how it will fit your bike but it was quality materials and worked great for me.

Decent windscreen for the money
I have added this to my 2020 Royal Enfield 650. The mounting to the handlebars is somewhat awkward to use and the rubber shimming that adapts to 7/8" bars seems to be barely up to the task. The shield itself is retained by large plastic nuts that can be hard to get tight enough to keep the shield in place. i ended up shimming the assembly to make it more secure. Once in place the shield looks great and does what i was hoping giving a modest amount of wind protection.

Great windshield
If your like the looks of your motorcycle without a windshield better, but still want a little protection from bugs, this is it. Easy to install, small, still looks good.

Perfect for smaller motobikes, Honda Monkey, Navi etc.
This fit my smaller Honda Navi perfectly. Not too big, not too small. Good quality. Looks great!

Work really well after different mounts.
I ended up having to buy the bigger mount. Be sure to measure bars.
