WTB TCS Rim Tape 40mm x 11m For i35 Width Rims Bike Tubes

Tape was perfect size for the rims I bought. Fitment was good and was easy to lay the tape. I was able to mount rims right away but let the tape settle before I added sealant. There’s enough tape for a couple of set of rims. Good stuff.

This tape seems to be a perfect fit for my i35 rims. It sealed well enough, but was a little hard to apply. I wasn't able to get it fully stuck down into the center valley of the rim.

Did two wraps. This does not stretch at all. Placed it, put the tire on with a tube. Inflated to max and waited 24 hrs. Then converted to tubeless. Sealed and seated immediately and all air bubbles gone once I removed the tube. Would recommend!

Every tubeless tape I have used has worked good, including this one. I dont think brand matters much. But this was the cheapest in the size I needed. It works good.

I use on three sets of WTB rims with zero problems. Two sets of WTB i40 scraper 26” rims and one set of i35 WTB KOM light 27.5 rims. WTB has a great tubeless system with their TCS rims and tape. Highly recommended.Pros:-pretty easy to install-good balance of tough and lightweight-holds air REALLY well with my WTB rimsCons:-like all rim tape, takes a few tries to install properly first time-edge of tape can break away on second install try.

I could not get this tape to work. It would not adhere to my wheel. I thoroughly cleaned my wheel. Lack of adhesive and stretch.

Read the rim recommendations to get the correct width. WTB recommended +4cm and it worked great for my rims.

Habe mein Endurorad auf tubeless umgerüstet, da die Felgen 27,5"x40mm groß sind, habe ich mich für dieses Band entschieden. Lieferung binnen weniger Tage, Klebeband klebt sehr gut und dichtet auch sauber ab. Leider nicht sonderlich günstig, dafür kauft man es auch nur ein mal. Habe zwei Felgen beklebt und immer noch einiges übrig.

Update: my rear tire on my dh bike would leak after a few good hits. This is the 2nd time I've redone the tape. It looks like it blew a hole but no way the spoke did it. I've never seen this before.... Like a lot of rim tape, the actual glue is terrible. You need to put a little duct tape down to get them started, but that's not out of the ordinary. My main beef is that the tape would break when you pull it tight. Not great, but not terrible... I'm pretty sure I've used this tape before and didn't have the same problem, I might have just gotten a defective role.
