Do Not Buy this Product being that it's not really theft-proof
They send you a key with this product which is not unique or theft proof. Anyone with T 27 Torx allen type key which also has a hole in the center can open this lock. You are better to buy metal strapping drill some holes in the center and put a lock through it or continue using a cable lock to protect your expensive trail cam. Now that I have this product, I will have to drill a hole through the metal strap and put a lock on it.

Great product: Watch it compared to other devices in the video included in this review.
About the company (Gear Nation): After having my Python lock on my trail camera defeated twice, I found the Cam Guardian. I contacted Gear Nation and asked them to send me a product so that I could test it thoroughly before purchasing one for my other cameras. Jonathan at Gear Nation was excellent to work with and always responded immediately to my emails and questions.About the product (Cam Guardian): The Cam Guardian is a steel band which is held secure with a tightening bolt. The tightening bolt is housed in an aluminum box to prevent tampering. I have been informed by Jonathan that future models will feature the locking bolt recessed into the aluminum block to be even more secure. I put this product through multiple tests to be sure it was as secure as it is advertised to be. I tested it compared to the other options available for trail cam security. The key is an allan wrench typle key with a unique torx style end which has a hole in it's center (think of a handcuff key) allowing a pin to be used in the head of the bolt. This feature prevents a regular hex/torx wrench being used. The key is changed frequently in the manufacturing process. This means that you can buy multiple Cam Guardians keyed alike, but the chances of others having the same key as you are very low. Because the Cam Guardian is steel banding, it has no stretch, just be sure to tighten the locking bolt completely. The Guardian can be used on multiple cameras, both with and without a security box. See for yourself in the following test/review video. The testing: I tested the Cam Guardian, The Masterlock Python, stainless steel lag bolts, and the nylon securing straps that are included with the cameras. I used 4 different cameras, both with and without a Camlock steel security box and gave each securing device a rating from 0-5 in the following categories:VERSATILITY: Is the product fast/easy to use? Are there any tools required? Can it be used with a variety of cameras?RE-POSITIONING: If the camera needs to be adjusted or moved, can it be adjusted easily?DURABILITY: Can the product withstand normal wear due to abrasions from the tree bark, harsh weather, and animal curiosity?SECURITY: Does the product protect the camera from theft? How difficult is it for a common/opportunistic thief to defeat or bypass the product?PRICE: Is it affordable to have multiple devices to secure all your cameras? These totals were then added up and each device was then given an overall rating out of 25. The Cam guardian performed very well. To see the full review please go to [...]It is important to remember that locks are theft deterrents. Most would-be thieves will be opportunistic. If you can make it as difficult as possible for them to successfully steal your property, they will usually move on to an easier target. If a thief really wants what you have however, Some people will go to great lengths to steal from you no matter what locking device you have.Bottom line, I would absolutely recommend this product and will buy more Cam Guardians and probably other items from Gear Nation in the future.

Junk
As mentioned, it’s just banding held in place by a grub screw. Very easy to break into. I went to move a tree stand I had locked up with this and forgot the Allen key. I found a stick, wedged it between the tree and banding, pried and it snapped free with minimal effort. Don’t waste your money.

easy to use
I have these on three of my cameras. Here in Arizona all of my hunting is on public land, some in areas that see a lot of foot traffic. I have heard of several cameras being stolen in the area, but mine have not been. These are light weight, easy to use, and secure. The work with cameras and with camera security boxes. I recommend you use the strap that comes with the camera to attach it to the tree, fence post, whatever, then put the camera lock strap on and tighten it down. It is a shame that the hunting community has gotten to the point where cameras are stolen, but at least with these, you can rest a little easier about leaving your camera out there.

Great Camera, WiFi Slow
This is a great trail camera, easy to set up, simple to use. The wifi connection is super slow for downloading videos, so I avoid using it, but the video quality is outstanding.
