Got this as a gift for my Mother who enjoys gardening and birds and she really liked it. She had a similar one previously at her last home, but it did not include the beard with the bird feeder, which we both thought was a nice touch. I kinda wish it was a little bit bigger, but other than that it's nice. It was a little bit of a pain to get hung up properly and we needed to switch out the little screws that were included for ones that were a bit longer in order to make sure it was screwed in securely to the tree that we chose, but that wasn't really a big deal. It ended up working out fine and it is a very cute addition to her garden area.

I get so many compliments on this from visitors! They LOVE IT!! Great quality! I will say, it’s not very functional as a feeder unless you plan on refilling it everyday. It’s a very small holding capacity, but WORTH IT!

This guy fit my pear tree to a tee. Comments have run from "cute' to "Awesome" (from the grand kids).We aren't reducing any stars, because we really like this guy, but a couple of notes -Seller recommends putting bird seed in the cup of the beard. We did that and birds used it for a couple days. Then it rained, and the birds were staying away from it. When I checked, the seed was soaked from the rain and was hardening up in the cup. I cleaned it out and just put some water in the cup. Now the birds tap it for drinks.A template for screws would have been nice. I used some masking tape to make one for the face, but guessed at the position of the eyes.Still - I recommend him. It's fun watching people's reactions when they see him.

I like this tree face a lot, but from the time I got it, one of the screw holes on both of the eyes were gouged out a bit. I was able to balance them when I installed it so that it would more or less stay in place, but over time, I would periodically walk by the tree to discover that the same eye would have repeatedly fallen off. I would pick up the eye, grab a screw driver to ever so slightly adjust the depth of the screw, replace the eye, and go about my day. Finally, after the winter, it seems the eye has fallen off for the last time, and I can't find it anywhere. I don't know if an animal ran off with it or something, but it is for sure lost. I would love to see if I could get a replacement piece from the seller, but I feel like that's unlikely. Overall, I enjoyed having this tree face up, but am definitely disappointed in the quality of the mounting holes. Everything else about it is great, but in my case, since that one thing failed, I'm basically left with a one-eyed tree spirit.

I love this product x infinity. Small, cute, easy set up. Adds so much magical whimsy to the yard. I only bought 1 to test it out but am going to order 6 others for the rest of the trees lol.
