HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL.
This is the father of all so-called brain developers or cognitive self-helps......the author has delineated the structure of our acquisition of knowledge and its role in action with a very interactive dialectic with the reader. A must read for all those who are keen to know the power of thought and its direct relationship with the circumstances in which one is put. Fortunate to read this.P.S: THIS BOOK IS WRITTEN BY A TRUE STUDENT OF SWAMI. A.PARATHASARATHY, AND THAT ITSELF QUALIFIES THIS BOOK TO BE A TREASURE, A GEM IN ITSELF. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL.

A modern day classic on art of thinking
This is a book that makes you think literally and figuratively. We never really examine our thoughts chiefly because its not an easy thing to do. Therefore external resources available to help us undertake this exercise are worth their weight in gold. This is one such book. Its a book for keeps since every chapter will offer you more on re reading. Its a book that tackles the fundamentals and ask you to question all that you have taken for granted. That is its gift in practical sense. On a deeper level it examines phenomenon of thoughts themselves and explains why we think the way we do. If you suspect that anything not going right in your life is due to you, this book is for you.

A refreshing take on Epistemology
While traditionally epistemology (the branch of philosophy that is concerned with knowledge) looks mainly at factual knowledge, the author extends the subject so that it can be used to help tranform our lives. It is lucidly written & does not require any prior knowledge. However, it has enough depth to require you to put on your thinking cap to fully appreciate the points it is making. The exercises at the end of each chapter help with this. The illustrations in the book are insightful & add a touch of humor in many places. Overall, an intelligent & enjoyable read.
