We got this backpack for my 11-year-old daughter’s swim gear, and it has been great. It’s got a ton of space for towels, clothes, and snacks, plus the wet/dry compartments are super handy. She can toss her wet stuff in one section without everything else getting soaked. The material feels tough, the zippers work smoothly, and the straps are comfortable even when it’s packed full. Honestly, it’s probably bigger than what she needs at her age, but that’s not a bad thing. She’ll be able to grow into it and keep using it as she gets older. Overall, it’s been a solid choice and makes hauling swim gear way easier.

This bag is perfect for any competitive swimmer. This is our second purchase of the same bag (we bought this one for our younger son, the previous one we have had for two years for my older son). It is well made, sturdy and will stand up to the abuse kids will put it through. I have seen that from the older bag we got and looking over this bag there is no reason to expect any difference in it holding up. The bag is of good size that easily will contain all your swimmers gear- paddle board, fins, swim paddles, goggles, etc. There is plenty of other room for kids to put a change of clothes, snacks, drinks, and pretty much anything my kids have wanted to take with them to swim practice or meets. There is one mesh holder for bottles on the side. Two pockets, one with half mesh to air out and the other enclosed on either side. There is a secondary compartment from the main one on the outside and a full mesh pocket out near the bottom of the front side. Inside the main compartment, there is a partition that you can separate dry from wet if need be. My son typically puts his gear bag in the main and his change of clothes in the partitioned part. The backpack has a hardened rubber part to help keep it's shape, protect against wetness when carrying the bag and it seems to make it more comfortable as well. The main straps are good size that allow for comfortably carrying a heavy load. There are straps that can be connected from the main straps to help keep them in place and another at the bottom. My boys don't use those often but I can see them being very useful if you had to walk longer distances than what we normally do. There are a couple of carabiners that my sons use to put their heat and meet tags on as well. The zippers all have big finger loops to make opening the zippered areas easy to do even with wet hands. I can not come up with anything that is not good about these bags or that I would want added. If you have a kid that is going to be swimming for a while, I would spend the money on this bag instead of going cheaper with another bag (which you can do). It is quality that makes your money well spent.

The wet/dry pouches are totally required - and the neat thing is, went from Water Polo, where this is slightly oversized, to Lacrosse, where this is perfectly sized with the same bag. Now just need to make sure that it doesn't get destroyed before next Water Polo season!

Purchased for my 16 year old son for swim practice. This bag has held up nicely for year round swim team. Bag is big enough to hold everything he needs and more. He really likes all the different compartments to hold swim suits, googles and towels in seperate areas. Would recommend
