READ BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!
If I could give these underpads zero stars I would. I ordered a case of 300 to use for diaper changes for my sons. I used Northshore before and after I saw these I decided to give them a try. BIG BIG MISTAKE.The case of 300 pads arrived in a brown Amazon box. They weren’t wrapped in another bag or anything else. It seemed like someone just took them out of a bigger box and put them in this one.(check the pictures) That didn’t seem at all hygienic for a product that is also recommended for babies/children. Needless to say I didn’t use them for my children. I don’t know if it’s the brand that’s advertised (since there was absolutely no packing other than the box), I don’t know if they were 300. And I must say although they say light absorbing that surely seem paper thin.Cheap but not worth it! NEVER again for me and it’s up to you if your willing to take a chance with these! A product handled by who knows who and how but definitely not professional or hygienic!

Most absorbent pads for the price - less wasteful bulk packaging
I came here to review these pads because of how great they are and got distracted reading the most helpful review. I'd like to address that first for those of you who might be misled. There is NOTHING wrong with the pads. The reviewer states that these are somehow unhygienic for her baby's changing table because they were packaged straight into a cardboard shipping box. These come directly from the manufacturer, so they are packaged bulk style. It is not unusual at all for pads like these to be packaged this way. The fear over this is irrational. If they were packaged in a wasteful, product packaging cardboard box or a plastic package first, and THEN put in a SECOND outer cardboard box for shipping, they would somehow be safer for a baby's bum? Complete and utter nonsense. Each pad is folded and sealed up with the inner lining completely concealed by the outer plastic layer. Nothing that touches skin is touching the box. The box is packed full and tight, and doesn't waste a bit of space. Considering these are wasteful, disposable pads that are overkill for a changing table (try a washable changing pad, towel or muslin blanket), be glad the company does something a little green for your baby's future.Okay, I feel better now. Hope that helps ease some of your fears - these are good pads and you shouldn't miss out on them. Nor should the company change their packaging. We use these as wee wee pads for our tiny dogs and love them. Just so you folks don't think I'm the pot calling the kettle black, we have tried washable wee wee pads and do partly use them in our regimen (they line the pan we put the disposable pads in). However, putting them in the same washing machine we use for our clothing and bedding when there were bits of - er - solid matter - unavoidably stuck to the fabric was beyond my ability. A big thanks to all who do this for the planet - you are way better, braver people than I am.I've been using the cheapest pads I can get. I try to average $10 per 100, because they are changed out multiple times per day and the cost adds up quick. I couldn't find our usual pads and stumbled upon these. Turns out they are at least twice as thick and a few bucks cheaper! Seriously folks - there are some really thin pads out there and we've used all kinds for 25+ years. These are by no means the thinnest. There may be thicker, but these are excellent for our needs. They are just a wee (no pun intended) bit shorter than 17". That's the only negative for me, but not worth knocking down a star as most people aren't going to be concerned with it.I find they absorb quickly so the dogs' paws don't get wet - a huge plus. In other words, the pee is absorbed fast enough that it doesn't pool up on the top layer and gather at their feet. That also means when they walk off the pad it can quickly dry their feet off.The layers are not quilted all over the top, but that isn't a need for us. That style may be more suited for dogs that like to shred their pads because they probably hold up a little better.Going to order another case as a back up right now, they're that good. Products rarely exceed my expectations for the price - delighted by these in quality AND packaging.

NOT as described in the sales headline
Pros:The cost is only 10.8 cents each when you buy the box of 300 "Light Absorbency" pads; assuming there are really 300 in the box.I weighed 20 of them, then weighed them all together. I do not know how accurate the count by weight would be, because they could vary a little from one to another, but my weight-count added up to only 292 in the box.Cons:No packing in the shipping carton, and it was very poorly wrapped. Looked like somebody literally tossed these pads into the box, and taped the top shut with only 1 width of tape.Inside the carton there was considerable small debris. It appears to be "yard" debris; very small bits of leaves, grass clippings, etc. That's not a huge issue, in my opinion, because the pads are folded, hence the debris can be easily brushed off the outside of the pads. I have not encountered any on the inside surface. The product description is beyond "misleading". It states that the pads are 17 x 24 inches, but in fact they are only 16 x 23 inches, and that's the entire pad, NOT the usable absorbing surface, which is only 14 x 20 inches because of the wide borders of these pads.Perhaps worse is that "Light Absorbency" is almost useless absorbency; even moderate wetness soaks through the pads quickly, and the absorbent material falls apart quickly, even just from perspiration moisture. A Bounty paper towel can easily absorb more than these pads and not fall apart in the process.I had previously purchased these [allegedly] same pads several months ago, same "Medline" brand, same "Light Absorbency" type, but from a different seller. Those were higher price, but were packed inside sealed plastic bags with the Medline name on the bag. None of those fell apart from moisture. No way to know if these are authentic, because of how they were packed; all just tossed into a shipping carton, not even neatly stacked. I don't want to accuse anybody of selling pirated goods, but these pads certainly do not measure up to the previous Medline pads I purchased. Generally, in my experience, Medline products are good quality. If this batch is indeed a genuine Medline product, they have really slipped in quality.

Best deal on an indispensible product for bed or wheelchair bound patients
This product is ideal for families or institutions with bed-bound or wheelchair-bound patients that require an extra layer of protection, ease of changing, and around-the-clock comfort and cleanliness. Good absorbency. Great size (not too big nor too small). Ease of use.The package/bulk deal makes the budget go a long way and eliminates the need of constant re-orders and trips to the store. The cost per pad beats any other deal I've seen in the market. The only drawbacks are (1) it's a relatively big box (may not be easy to store in tight living quarters), and (2) the pads are placed directly in the box with no protective covering.

Very thin!
These are fine for when my son doesn't start peeing while I change his diaper. Very thin so the pee will disperse everywhere on it and ill have to change his clothes because it went up the pad.But not expensive compared to thicker ones, so we are more vigilent if he starts to pee.

Works perfectly for us
I have bought this a little before our baby was born, so only now I can write a review, after 1 month using. We where worried about the baby's pee and poop soiling the crib's mattress or the exchanger and the work it would take to clean them. So this baby here was the answer. When we are changing her diaper, we can take our time, because we know if she pees or poops, the underpad won't let it pass to the surface below it.We still have to try it when we go outside, like at the shopping's bathroom, but I think it will work just fine.We also saw the nurses of the hospital using some underpads like this one at the hospital. So I think it's a good one. These underpads will be our partner for a good time (I will buy more when I need it).

Great value
Bought it to use as a changing pad for the baby station. It is really thin, but it absorbs quite well (probably a good 1/3 of a cup- I poured water...). But the great thing that a package comes with 300 underpads and it is a really GREAT value for your buck. So I am very happy with the purchase. Especially that this product does not have these cotton threads that tend to stick to baby's clothing and are present in the other underpads that exist there on the market that are much thicker but also much more expensive.

Waste of money!
If I could give this product less than one star I would. I got this for my baby to put on her changing pad and they did a terrible job. Extremely extremely thin and does a poor job of absorbing which beats the whole purpose of using a liner. Due to the fact that they are so thin also causes them to move around when she is laying on top of it. Very disappointed in the product. I ended up returning the product and went back to buying the change pads from Walmart.
