Michael, DO you want the physical length of the unit? About 9 1/4 inch long. Or the notch it will make? Notch about 5/8 inch wide, Length can be varied from 1/8 inch to maybe a little over 1 inch. Works very nicely. Jeff

MALCO JCC50R J Cutter

Q: I use 1 in j channel. Will this work with 1 in? I have not been able to find a tool labeled for 1 in.

I don’t think so. You would still need to trim the cut after using this tool. This is made in 1/2”and 5/8”. I’m not sure about any other sizes.

I ordered the 5/8" j cutters and they actually measured 7/8". Does anyone know exactly how wide these ( 1/2") ones are. Using them on 3/4 j channel.
