Zinus4 Inch Box Spring with Cover, No Assembly Mattress Foundation, Sturdy Metal Structure, Split King, White

I needed a lower box springs for my Queen bed and this one sure fits the bill. It came 3 days earlier than expected, which was great. This box spring is BUILT!! Was a little difficult to remove from the box by myself, but with a lot of grunting and stubbornness, I managed it. The box springs is handed, so it just needed to be opened up, zip up the cover (which is already on. Just need to zip up over the hinges.) Slide onto the bed frame and it's good to go. This would be easier to open and install with another person's help, but it can be done by one persistent person. Worked great on my bedframe.

Cannot get a box springs up our stairwell. Had thought about getting a new bed, but this is much less expensive. I thought it was a quad fold, turns out to be half fold. Im 62 years old, not fully a fit person, but try to hold my own. Wasnt easy to slide out of shipping box, so 2 people would be better. Got it drug up flight of 14 stairs, trying to flatten was another struggle doing it alone. Needs to still be partially folder to get covering back around the frame. (Save you the hassle I put myself through) Being 5'2", I do need to climb that extra height to get in. Hoping I get a good night's sleep on it tonight.

When you need a box spring and don't want to pay a bazillion dollars in shipping and "preparation fees" AND don't want junky wood with purposeful cuts that make it break easily, this is the thing to do.All I wanted to do was pull it out of the box, flatten it and put it in place. And it was everything I wanted.The metal frame provides a really solid base and the slim 4 inch height was just what we needed. It really doesn't get any easier. Very happy I bought this.

Bought an Ashley Furniture king panel bed frame but didn’t know it was rails only and no platform. This foldable box spring was exactly what I need to give a 4 inch boost on top of the rails and get the 13 inch mattress to normal height. Highly recommend!

I bought this to replace my old box spring, cause with my new mattress just made my bed too high. It was light weight to carry outside of the box. I was able to carry it up my 13 steps in my home. My husband stated opening it up was simple enough (with the display instructions), but trying to put the zipped cover on was difficult, that came with no instructions.

Ordered a new Bo spring for my daughter I love that there is no wood and so easy to set up which it came a lil taller but otherwise definitely worth the money

Easy to get out of the box you just unfold it and you’re done in for an older woman like me I did it with no problems would definitely recommend

I have a really difficult position of my steps and was able to get the box spring inside of the box up the stairs with no problems.

I've waited over 3 months before writing this review. We purchased an expensive 18 inch mattress from a local retail store almost two years ago and bought the matching 4 inch bed foundation to fit our existing sleigh bed. While I loved the comfort of the new mattress, I was really bothered by the noise it made every time my husband or I would move.... then to add to my disappointment, after about a year, it felt like the mattress was sagging in the center, despite replacing the cross bed rail supports on on our sleigh bed.... I did some research and found that our foundation actually had box board on top!!!! (For a mattress that cost $3000, the foundation that was sold with it did not meet the quality of the mattress. The wood construction was flimsy as well). Then I found the zinus foundation online, read through the reviews and ordered with reserved expectations. I was very happy and relieved, however! This foundation is of the highest quality- very solidly built, the packaging and workmanship are amazing, and I know it will surpass the life of my expensive mattress. The sagging of our mattress is no longer there (confirming that it was our crappy foundation), and best of all- absolutely no noise! Now, I am finally loving the mattress that was purchased at a brick and mortar and not regretting having spent so much on it! This foundation would also be perfect if we ever decided to move, as compared to a traditional box spring. It folds in half and is very compact. Highly recommended.

I purchased this low profile box spring for my 5-year-old. I didn’t want a tall box spring for safety concerns, and so that she could get up and down herself with ease. I opted for this one (instead of the box spring in a box that you have to build) for convenience and paid the extra money. I must say, worth every extra penny that we didn’t have to build this. It was easy to flip open and stick in the bed frame. It fit, and does its job perfectly so far!

Something that I can fit up my narrow staircase!A traditional queen boxspring will not fit into my bedroom. You can buy two separate half pieces but he warned: the price listed is usually for one.This was the most economical choice.As a box spring is works fine. Lower profile than I would have liked and is mismatched from my mattress but neither is an issue.I would easily recommend this to anyone who can't fit a queen boxspring into their apartment or condo.

I had purchased a Queen size bed that was advertised as a platform bed ..but it come with only 4 slats..we felt better to get the box spring ..it’s worked very well with a 10” mattress and having the extra 4 “I gave it 4 ..as l found the cover difficult to put on ..it had slipped off ...the key was to get all corners on before opening it up ...Yes l would recommend this buy

This box spring was perfect for our house. The movers couldn’t get my box spring up the stairs in our older house are too small. This worked perfectly as it’s folded up. Easy to assemble.
