Q: Is it a squeeze / squirt type bottle?

The bottle is plastic, but I would not consider it a squeeze/squirt bottle. The product is thin, so it kind of dribbles out.

Q: Is this best used before washing face or after?

Either way....see what works best for you. I use before washing though the instructions indicate that you should at least wipe any grease/dirt from your face first.

Q: What constitutes lubrication of the skin? alcohol denat, isopropyl myristate has none of those factor.

Isopropyl myristate is an oily liquid - it's what provides the lubrication. The ethyl alcohol is the solvent for the oil. (These are the main two ingredients in Williams Lectric Shave.)
